all right so the Nova Knicks have officially assembled in New York City after a blockbuster trade late last night there’s a lot to talk about here so I think a lot of people’s immediate gut reaction to this was like hey this is cool but kind of an overpay for a guy who’s never made an All-Star team but you got to remember this is just the NBA trade market and yeah not that this is some crazy pull or anything but I did call this trade like a month and a half ago now in my version of the trade the Knicks were given of Julius Randall who for a few different reasons I think is as good as gone he won’t be on the Knicks next season especially given that reports are saying that even with this trade the Knicks are still trying to bring back OG an and noi I also think it’s important to know that the Knicks gave up a lot of picks but neither of their first in tonight’s draft I think the Knicks are now secured as a top three team in the East now the Net’s other trade last night was that they basically swapped a bunch of picks with the Rockets So now the big rumor is the Rockets are going to package shenon and a bunch of picks to go get Kevin Durant Houston this would be a problem

Randle is, funny enough, a very solid fit. A bunch of our starters can create shots sure but they love spotting up, and no one finds them better than Randle out of the post. He just needs to learn how to play off the ball and we got us a dangerous team.

I don’t this makes the knicks that much better. They still aren’t beating beating Boston in 7 and still not beating the bucks in 7. Depending on what Philly does they might not even best them in 7. To me they spent too much to get too little in return

Look, lots of people gonna say the Knicks were robbed, but , I disagree. There's more to winning than just superstars. Mikal is a really good 2-way role player that could give u 20 points on any given night. Chemistry is also a huge role in winning and mikal is just that for the Knicks. Yes, the nets did get a lot of first round picks, but, a lot of picks don't even turn out to be good. We know mikal is good. It's honestly to me a win win. Both teams got good deals. No one got robbed.

All of the first round picks are projected to be lower first round picks. Bridges is really an outstanding all around player. I'd rather have one outstanding player to go with our current team, than have 5 average players come in over several seasons. This is a good trade for the Knicks. OG is back.
