FUCK NO, Deshaun is bad enough. We really need to throw a fit if this happens, disgraceful

  2. Expensive_Dig9008

He was on my radar if he takes a discount for being a crappy human being. They call it the sintax

  3. ElectricEntity

I suppose the Guardians are looking at Wander Franco then

  4. darthllama

I stopped following the Browns when they got Watson, so I guess I can stop following the Cavs too

  5. Nice, let’s get him and complete the Cleveland sports team trifecta of failed moral boycotts.

    Guardians (name change)
    Browns (Deshaun)

This is one of the few players that came to mind with the Okoro S&T report.

It’s been reported a few times that the Cavs aren’t interested in an Okoro S&T unless it brings back a significant player in return. There are only so many guys on the market that fit that mold at the SF position, and talent-wise Bridges fits. He’s apparently friends with some of the guys on the team too, and his contract shouldn’t be much higher than Okoro’s if at all because…well.

That being said, he’s a piece of shit for what he did. So if that’s the trade I don’t know how to feel.

I will only comment on this from a basketball perspective. He would be an amazing addition to the team and with plug right in perfectly at the 3. My only concern would be shape/rust from not being on the court for so long.

Ugh, I love him as a talent, he’s young and a perfect fit for us talent wise. I was all for the Deshaun trade so I guess I have to be consistent and say that if the league is letting Bridges play, then I’d love to see him with our guys.

I know y’all hate him but garland and Mitchell are close with him. Garland even went to a game with him. Player and teams don’t really care about this as much as they should. It could very well happen. It would probably bring a lot more winning too but I totally get not wanting him bc what he did was unacceptable

Cavs have no other shot at getting a player of his talent level. If they can get him for Okoro it’s worth the roll of the dice.

Sigh. Bye Ice, a wonderful young man whose only crime is being a dog

  12. Necessary_Maize_3245

Already have a drunk driver for our GM and a sex predator on our football team, we don’t need more bad press please. Plus this guy can’t shoot, no thank you

  13. yamansam

Athletes/Entertainers are not perfect so people getting bent out of shape relax

  14. He’s what we need as a player. But it’s risky and not great PR if it’s pulled off.

  15. Shauerkraut

He’s the guy the Cavs need at the 3 if they wanna compete with the Celtics and Knicks

  16. Fuck no. He’s a wifebeating piece of shit and just had another incident in October. Cases like this tend to repeat over and over again. I’m all for second chances where people can atone for their mistakes and re-enter society, but I am 100% opposed to rewarding guys like Bridges and Watson with millions of dollars when they have no remorse or accountability.

  17. Mountain-Song-6024

Why are we bringing in character issues? He’s a POS that should be BANNED.

Are you joining the browns and throwing your soul away?

  18. Rkenne16

He’ll fit perfectly in to that kPJ sized hole in our line up! He’s 6’8, but idk what kind of footwear situation might have been involved though

  19. amor_fati_42

Hopefully this is just leverage in Ice negotiations.

  20. Heavy_Morning_4111

JB was awful with rotations and offense but one thing we need to give him credit for is building a culture that is easy to root for. The second they canned him, they’re looking to bring in an abuser…

  21. hatecopter

First the Browns now possibly the Cavs. Is Cleveland doing a full heel turn?

  22. SkrtSkrt70

From a pure basketball perspective: he’s a perfect fit as a SF for us, he’s a good enough 3pt shooter where you can’t leave him open with real SF size. It would allow us to actually play Okoro and/or Strus as SG consistently. At the same time he’s tall enough and a good enough rebounder he could play PF in lineups where only one of Mobley or Allen is out there. Getting him would absolutely make this team better on the court.

That being said, he’s a POS human being and I don’t want him anywhere near our franchise.

  23. DatGameGuy

Just so everyone is aware: you can be for giving people second chances without handing them a job that makes them multi-millionaires.

  24. Alone-Information-35

Have some decency. This guy stinks.

  25. People arnt gonna like this. And I get it. But the cavs have limited options to get better and sometimes you need to do what you need to do

  26. Okoro sign & trade for Cam Johnson, JA for Miles Bridges & Mark Williams (and/or Grant Williams). That’s a start.

  27. WalkingOnSunshine_

If we lose ice for this piece of shit I am not going to be very happy
