Is this the DOWNFALL of the DENVER NUGGETS

[Music] yo what’s good y’all it’s John up back from Top ball Central and in today’s video we’re going to be going over the Denver Nuggets and just kind of grad in how their offseason has gone so far and really just what’s been going on I’m going to go a full detail and just run down on it so let’s get right into it so starting out first thing first the first thing I want to address is them losing out on kcp in free agency and the Orlando Magic ended up picking him up but uh this was a huge piece that they lost this gave them a lot of depth and just provided them with that perimeter defense you know and he he’s just such a really undervalued player that just does so much for this team he’s a true reason on why they were you know contenders in the first place he’s really underrated yeah so he’s really underrated and they’ve already lost two really good contributors on they won that 2023 championship in the first place and them losing Bruce Brown last off season and also Jeff Green but now it’s kcp things are just not looking good for the Denver Nuggets and that’s what the title of this video is going to be things are just not looking good for this team at all and that’s really just what I want to go over and I’m going to throw in some like trade uh targets or uh free agent pieces that they could try to go and pick up towards the end of this video so stick around for that and I’m just going to kind of run down real quick kcp obviously he was a perfect fit for the Nuggets cuz you know he was that three and D guy who could just take on the toughest defensive assignments on each and every night and he was just a uh really good catch and shoot type of player as well he provided them with extra floor spacing um he was just really something close to an elite spot up shooter and he was just the team’s uh best defender against really Speedy guards such as like a dear Fox on some nights and just you know faster guards you know of that nature and uh Denver and Denver could have resigned him but they were just too scared and just being way too cheap to even try to like resign him but obviously they got joic he’s the best player in the world arguably but um you know he’s in the middle of his Prime at 29 years old and is always to give this man theet give the whole pet as the MVP baseball pass ahead quter holds the trigger win championships but instead they’re just opting to maintain that flexibility moving forward and if the Nuggets young players like christien Brun Payton Watson and also Julian ster can develop Denver could still be a championship level team but it’s just a very bold statement and bet to make whenever ever you have you know a three-time MVP and a player who fits seamlessly around him and that being uh kcp but yeah losing all these pieces and stuff are just horrible because they really haven’t seen any growth from their young bench pieces and they really haven’t taken any steps you know further besides Christian Brun everybody else really hasn’t proved anything but yeah this is not looking good for the Nuggets having Julian staler moving on up to the starting lineup because that’s what it’s projected as because they’ve obviously already lost kcp and their backup point guard that they had and that being Reggie Jackson so what they need to do is they need to trade uh mpj right now to get really good depth pieces to add to this team because they need it right now because they have one of the worst benches in the entire NBA if not the worst honestly in my opinion I think they do have the worst because they have nobody on this team that you could say is better than any bench in the league almost I mean they have Trey Alexander Julian staler Hunter Tyson Payton Watson Zeke Nai all these guys coming off the bench this has to be the worst bench in the entire league by far but it’s just horrible to see they knew to trade mpj right now because you know he’s still kind of young he’s only 26 years of age he’s 610 and he can be good on a lot of teams a lot of teams I know would want him um there’s a few targets of U there’s a few targets of like backup centers that I kind of had in mind that they could try to go for I couldn’t really come up with any like you know official trades so I just have you know predictions on who they could get so with the first backup center to help yage out would be uh Nick Richard he could be you know obviously a really good backup big to provide them some depth as a secondary big man he’s really good you know coming from Charlotte we’ seen him uh last year he had a lot of moments because um you know and uh he had a lot of good moments last year because uh Mark Williams was out for a lot of the season and he missed a lot of games and we got to see how Nick Richards actually played whenever he got the step up and he’s a really good backup big that they could try to Target and then also another team would be or another player would be stepen Adams he’s obviously a really good backup big to have and I don’t think the Nuggets would have to give much up for him um he would just provide them you know obviously about the same thing that Nick Richards would but obviously I think Stephen Adams is a little bit better then with the third uh one I would say would be Kelly oen now Kelly o lenck would help them with their spacing a little bit more uh he can you know shoot from the perimeter he can get shots he can also rebound pretty well he’s pretty solid and these are three targets that I believe they could try to get at the center uh you know spot but um honestly yeah like I said they just need to try to trade mpj um he wouldn’t be that hard to trade and also I’ve been seeing a lot of like media and stuff talking about the Denver Nuggets uh trying to sign Russell Westbrook which I believe would be a perfect fit because we got to see how great he was coming off of the bench uh you know for the clippers but he could just easily be a starter you know for the Nuggets but it could be whichever one they want him to do we got to see how good he was as a six-man over there in LA but they could also try to get Luke Canard as well Luke Canard would be a perfect backup to own um because he would just provide that shooting he’s really good he can also spark it up from three he’s just so good at that it’s his best thing it’s his perimeter shooting but let me know Down Below in the comments who do you guys think the Denver Nuggets should try to reach out and sign or trade for to help their team out because obviously they are in a really tough spot right now with no depth pieces they tried to pick up a center you know in the draft they picked up I believe two of them but they’re really you know UND sized I think one’s like 68 and one’s 69 but the one they tried to get in the first round I believe they trade it up for um I’m not sure how he’s going to play out so they need to try to uh go and get someone who’s more obviously you know experienced and they know can come in and get the job done but let me know Down Below in the comments like I said who do you guys think that the Nugget should try to get and as always is make sure to like comment subscribe and turn on post notifications and I’ll see y’all in the next one I’m out
