Why would we trade him? He’s been great for us and is still pretty young.
If it’s 2 firsts, swaps, and Moody, that’s a big no.
Considering this deal would have to, at the very least, include all available picks and swaps and Kuminga, I doubt the Ws pay what Ainge wants. Especially considering there will be teams out there who could outbid them
It has to have Kuminga in it with a load of picks too, otherwise we are getting shafted
GSW still not comfortable offering up Kuminga it seems. Once the offer is Moody, Kuminga and picks then this is a done deal
My speculation of what I think is maybe Kuminga is in the deal, with maybe 1 first, yet Ainge is probably demanding more picks
I do find it funny that people talk about how no one wants to play in Utah, then we get a really good player who wants to stay in Utah, and everyone says we should trade him to draft another guy who probably doesn’t want to play in Utah.
Even if we do get a top pick I just have a feeling it’s gonna be a Donovan Mitchell situation all over again, where his camp clearly wants out of Utah the entire time.
Maybe I’m just jaded from Mitchell, Hayward, Boozer, and Deron Williams lol
Their picks are going to be garbage if Lauri and Steph are playing together.
And I’m quickly losing interest in 2027 and 2028 draft picks.
Warriors would be stupid to trade kuminga or moody. I don’t forsee either player apart of this deal. The trade offer is most likely three firsts, all their seconds, and Wiggins if I had to guess.
I dont know why people are so high on Kuminga.
I’d rather keep Markkanen.
I think the content space is starved so this deal keeps getting talked about, but as reported before it has a 10% chance of happening. The Warriors don’t want to trade Kuminga, Jazz keep saying no trade without him. The Warriors see Kuminga as their one good redeeming piece from the two timelines thing, and trading him for anything less than Giannis would be an admission of failure not from the front office but for OWNERSHIP.
Lacob cares more about not being wrong, and selling out chase 5 years from now, than getting Curry a 5th. And that’s totally fine. Jazz can re sign Lauri try to tank and see what they have next year, but the contract being a max makes him much harder to trade if they want to pivot
Not saying one team should or shouldn’t do anything, I think ultimately both sides stand pat.
