the Washington Wizards just sent former first round selection Denny AIA in a trade to the Portland Trailblazers in exchange for Malcolm Brogden the 14th overall pick in tonight’s draft and a 2029 firstr rounder I’m having a hard time making sense of this from the Wizards perspective I really liked the performance that Denny AIA put out this season career-high points per game career-high efficiency 50% from the field 37% from three and you know that was the one thing that we were waiting on they took him with the ninth overall pick in 2020 and coming into the league he was a good Defender but we knew that he needed to improve offensively and that he did this year and now all of a sudden the Wizards are sending him out I don’t understand this move for them unless they’re planning on packaging these pieces together to make a more substantial move I think this is a mistake for the wizards but let me know how you feel in the comments section
