as as after you went undrafted you kind of could pick I guess any NBA team you wanted to go to to to develop and and maybe sign a two-way or standard what what was it about the heat that attracted you here um I think a lot of it’s just you know their history with a two- ways and guys in you know similar positions like me uh something you know I really gravitated towards and you know after talking with my agent and going through the process you know I think you know it was super exciting to have you know a team like the heat uh you know want a guy like me and you know vice versa so I think it was you know just a great opport you um looking forward to this whole journey AR wman s Seno go ahead hey Z good to know see you also um we talked about this a little briefly before the draft you’ve always sort of have been viewed as a safe player you’re not going to make turnovers you’re going to get the teams into offense you’re going to work hard but this is a league of superior athletes and special things that players do so I’m just curious now that you have this opportunity for two weeks in heat camp on a two-way contract what are you trying to show the team that specifically hey you might not have noticed in the draft but I have these you know sort of NBA skills XY and z um I think just being a floor General um you know getting the getting guys who you know we want the ball to get to um you know getting them their shots um you know being able to you know set the table and um you know just get everyone involved uh just be another extension of the coach honestly so I think that’s something you know I try to you know do well uh get in the paint um you know and just create for others and then you know I think it opens up everything else so that’s something I’m really trying to show um show the you know coaching staff they could trust me and you know I’m make the right play and just use my IQ I know a lot of times point guards love nothing more than dunk threats that they could run and throw the alley oops to and kle seems to have that in them it seems Pella has that in them also what’s it been like out there knowing that as you run the offense you do have Rim Runners like that guys like that that you can go over the top too and and what have they shown you so far about their athleticism yeah no it’s been it’s been great to play with uh I think it makes my life a whole lot easier um and I think just you know having that kind of threat on the floor you know just opens up everything uh you got to respect respect that and I think it just opens up you know the shake guy and just just little stuff like that and I think you know I think it’s G make us a great team just having that threat at the end of the day and I think they’ve you know had a very good you know three days here um you know just being down here and getting to play with these guys and just really try to learn their Tendencies and how they are um you know as basketball players and I think it’s been a lot of fun uh you know getting to understand that and you know them getting to understand me as well so appreciate it welcome aboard thank you Zachary weberg or clutch points go ahead hey Z how’s it going just kind of talking about again obviously you know coming from UF you’re staying in State uh was that always sort of sort of maybe in the back of your mind that it would be really cool to kind of stay in State play with the heat and what just for a quick second question what have you learned from your time with the Gators that you’re trying to implement here thanks yeah no I think uh I think Miami is a team you always grew up watching so uh you know there was always you know definitely a level of interest and you know wanting to play for an organization like this and you know how they run things and I think just their ability to work hard uh no matter which guy you are on the roster uh you know you can have opportunity to play as long as you come compete and you know show up every day every single day so I think that’s been fun and I think just Florida uh just allowed me to play you know that competition you know day in day out um I think it’s really prepared me you know being around a lot of these you know high level players um you know some my experience uh especially making that shift from UC Riverside to Florida uh just getting a practice with it as well as you know play against it I think just made me a better player and just more complete player
