It still doesn’t make sense to me. I think i get the cap hold part, but why would we give this guy 20M? So he can be trade bait + picks to get someone in that range later? If so, why would that other team want to pay KJ 20M along with the picks? If that happens then the other team just waives him so they don’t have to pay? My head hurts.
