Yeah I know we’re waiting for the Dejounte trade to be officially official but it seems ridiculously quiet for capela … I don’t think we’ve heard about one team being truly interested in him and a few teams figured out their centered spot . What do yall think he could actually go for at this point ? He’s still a great rebounder, good rim protector & his expiring deal should be attractive. I know it sound crazy but if the bulls blow it up I wouldn’t mind taking back Lonzo in a capela trade (if nobody truly interested in capela), obviously the injuries a major concern but if he’s somehow truly healthy not only is he a great backup he’s the perfect & ideal fit next to 11. Regardless there should be no reason for him to be in a hawks Uniform next year

I wouldn’t take Lamelo let alone Lonzo. Even if by some miracle he’s healthy *now* God knows for how long that would last

Nobody has been interested in Capela or Hunter for years. Both of their contracts are negative.

Crazy we could have had Lively from the mavs for Capela and our pick that led to Bufkin and we didn’t pull the trigger.
Capela is on a decent size expiring contract. Hawks will hold that till the deadline in February cause he’s way more valuable then than he is now. The only way he gets traded now and not in February is if he signs an extension and locks in for a couple more years at a cheaper rate. That way a team isn’t worried about him walking after only a year.
