yo what’s going on guys crispy flakes here so Klay Thompson has officially joined the Dallas Mavericks and as we talk about this video I am going to partake in my favorite flavor Dorito I like to call it Dallas Mavericks defense or barbecue okay so Jokes Aside this is an offensively Elite move for the Dallas Mavericks they bring in Klay Thompson yeah they got to give up Josh Green to do so I liked Josh Green a lot but Klay Thompson is one of the greatest Shooters of all time you might even say that he is the second greatest shooter in NBA history now funnily enough he’s actually going to a worse offensive situation I know right that’s crazy to say but you know like Luca is great at point guard but Curry is the best shooting guard of all time best shooting point guard of all time so in theory that means he went to a worst situation now I’m this joking man um but okay okay okay so I I have so much to say about this I really don’t even know where to start um I guess what we’ll first do here is we’ll kind of pull up the Mavericks offseason kind of in a nutshell here bro I’m just joking bro we’re not having no nuts just duritos man uh so yeah out Tim Hardway Jr to my Detroit Pistons out Derek Jones Jr to the was it the clickers Josh Greeno so you know lost some scoring some athleticism there but what you got back is phenomenal man Klay Thompson which we’re going to talk more about him obviously man Quinton Grimes three and d24 I mean essentially your new Josh Green Quint Grimes is fantastic I think I almost saw him play six games in Detroit he was injured forever single one of them man and then Naji Marshall who I I’m jealous as a Pistons fan I want this dude so much uh to the point where I know okay so this might come off as sketchy but what would be your thoughts of putting Klay Thompson as the six-man because I’m just saying man okay we’re kind of in position basketball now so in theory positional Theory and from you know actual defens of matchups you’re looking at Luca at point guard Kyrie at the two clay at the three PJ at the four and Lively at the five now the front Court you know with PJ and lively that’s pretty good Lively still has to learn not to foul so much but uh yeah pretty solid there PJ Washington 3 and D what do you do with that what do you do defensively man with the big three you know like Luca his his whole thing was getting trolled in the playoffs for his lack of Defense Klay Thompson yeah he’s been playing small forward the past two years but also at the same time he’s 34 uh he’s had multiple ACL tears and he’s just not the same defensive player he once was you know and also let me keep the same energy because like man I’m not going to switch up okay you got all these people out here saying oh Clay Thompson like like like like I heard you all saying oh for 10 you can’t just be switching your mind all of a sudden right like keep the same energy I mean it it’s it’s fine I I just don’t think it’s all maybe this might be a case where per 36 is a better indicator to look at at least for like potential he was playing you know quite a few minutes um not a huge per 36 guys but you know that looks about right you know 13 points few rebounds few assists Some solid defense yeah I think qu G’s going to fit in really nicely for this team here man but you know Naji Marshall that’s where it’s at I lowkey want this dude start starting man I love this signing so much for the squad I think he’s perfect seven points four rebounds two assists about to steal a game let’s go this per 36 yeah 13.7 rebounds smoke because of the name I can’t really tell who they have last season who was on the Mavericks last season man that’s what I need to see Dallas Mavericks because Tim Hardway averag 14 points no longer on the team you got clay 17 so that’s plus three right there got PJ and Daniel for a full season I love both those dudes both really solid players drik lley you know another year in his CR you lost um Derek Jones that was nine points three rebounds two assists one assist I’m sorry lost Josh Green eight points right there man team lost a lot of athleticism a lot of scoring and they kind of went in the direction of you know catch and shoot these are all catch and shoot players little little little athleticism from Quinton na I’m not so sure about huh don’t see a problem with what they replace with Josh Green sucks to lose super team had they have no excuse I want would not call this a super team this is a really good team but it’s not a super team man Quinton and N don’t sound going to be let down now you should go into the season with that expectations that this is a top four seed in the Western Conference and you know um barring injuries and you know Quinton Grimes taking a good step and Naji fitting to the system and you know Klay Thompson being able to play a lick a defense um you’re look you’re looking at you know a team that can championship and I think that’s a
