are the Orlando Magic about to trade wendo Carter Jr ladies and gentlemen welcome back to another video you watch a high tie jet ride the tide and subscribe today talking about wendo Carter Jr I’m on Twitter I keep seeing Pelicans wendo Carter Jr wendo Carter Jr Pelicans I’m like okay what’s the Pelicans obsession with wendor Carter Jr what’s going on are they is there dialogue between the Pelicans and the magic is there like a three- team trade about to go down because when I look at the contracts on both teams it just doesn’t really make sense to me that the magic would trade wendo Carter Jr first of all this upcoming season Wendell is making a little bit under 12 million we’ll call it $12 million this upcoming season and then the season after that he’s making about $1 million so very tradable contract two years left on the deal for a starting Center at that price is just amazing he has had injury problems throughout his well NBA career in general he had a lot of injuries with the bulls had he’s been kind of on and off with the magic as far as injuries go the thing interesting with the magic and the whole contract situation is they just resigned goab baz they just resigned Mo Vagner so it makes you wonder if they are shopping when the Carter could could possibly be the case but what would the magic ask for from the Pelicans if the Pelicans are desperate enough for wendo Carter Jr do you are the Pelicans willing to give up Jordan Hawkins I don’t think they would he’s very good three-point shooter still on the rookie contract a first round draft pick it would clear space for the magic to sign a free agent like I mean I would love tus Jones on the magic that’s just me but then you have Anthony black jayen Suggs Cole Anthony and tyus Jones essentially uh fourpoint guards on the team you can I mean you can call jayen Suggs a shooting guard but he’s playing looks like he’s going to be the starting point guard for the team so I don’t know how that works but the wend Carter thing if there was a player who you would guess would be traded from the magic it the number one on the list is wendo Carter Jr I guess right under that is Cole Anthony but it would have to be something that the magic can’t say no to I don’t think they’re shopping Cole Anthony I do think that they’re listening to conversations about wend Carter Jr there just little Clues everywhere you look like Zack low was naming like the starting lineup of the magic and then when he when it came down to wend Carter he’s like uh wend Carter I mean what whatever they decide to do with that it’s like maybe I’m just looking into it too much if wend Carter were to get traded to the Pelicans what do you guys think would be a good trade back what would you guys want from the Pelicans highly doubt they’re going to give up Trey Murphy highly doubt they’re going to give up herb Jones I’ll take Jordan Hawkins straight up for wendor Carter Jr start Goa baz Mo Vagner coming off the bench hey you could try starting Jonathan Isaac if you’d like I’m down with that let me know what you guys think Pelicans fans let me know what you guys think do you want wend Carter Jr how bad do you want him and what would you give up to the magic to receive Wendel Carter as your starting center for this upcoming season great contract a little injury prone but he could shoot threes he’s a good starting center I mean I don’t know what else you want let me know what you guys think like comment subscribe more videos on the way I appreciate y’all for watching I’ll let y’all later peace

With the contracts to Goga and and Moe I think it's pretty clear they have two established centers for the next two years. Isaac can also play the 4 or 5 depending the lineup. I think they value Goga as he does not demand the ball and is not the scoring threat that WCJ is. That onus should be taken on by PB, FW, JS and KCP. Moe is perfect as the center for the second unit and is a bigger scoring threat. Point is, I think Carter Jr. is inevitably gone and I hope they add shooting depth particularly at guard if possible.

Pelicans fan here. Knowing what I do about Griffin and the Pels I will tell you what Carter can fetch you from them. Hawkins isn’t going to happen. Brandon Ingram is a possibility, but I’m almost certain they are aiming higher for him. They would probably want another really good young player or a collection of good draft picks for that kind of swap. If the Pelicans are going to trade for Carter they are most likely dangling a single first round pick with some protections. Maybe they get desperate around the middle of the season when all other options fail. Then you might be able to pry a little more from them. Knowing Griffin, I would say the chances of all else failing is pretty good, but he almost certainly will fail before you guys get swoop in and reap the benefits. It will likely be an earlier team who gets to swindle one on Griffin first before you guys ever get to pick at his bones. He’s a terrible GM.
As a Magic fan, I am against them trading WCJ at this point. For the price of his contract he is too valuable. After the KCP signing who of the 4 other starters would get benched to make room for who the Magic would get back from the Pelicans? Suggs, KCP, Franz, and Paolo are locked into the starting lineup in my opinion. To acquire a guy like Ingram, I think he would have to start. Carter over Moe or Goga in my opinion. Signing KCP I think killed any chances of them acquiring a starting player that would make a significant difference like a playmaking PG. Picks and a role player would probably be the best bet and I would rather keep him if that is the return.

As a pelicans fan listen up y’all have all the leverage we don’t have a center on the roster at all we got Daniel Thies who is 6’8 and 32 years old and the rookie center we got in the draft and he’s a lob threat that it can’t rebound at all and all pelicans fan want him from what I see on social media Ik pelicans won’t give up Trey Murphy be we are literally trying to trade Brandon Ingram just so we can start him and I’ll literally won’t be a pelicans fan anymore if we trade herb and I think that’s like 99% of pelicans fans tbh😂 so I think the trade wouldn’t have to be Jordan Hawkins and a second round pick/first or a sign and trade with Matt Ryan our 9.99 million dollar trade extension and 2 to 3 first pelicans are 1000000% desperate for a center y’all can take full advantage of us but as long as we don’t give up Trey Murphy or Herb Jones y’all can have Jordan Hawkins which I would be sad about because he’s literally an all star player our coach is just an idiot and doesn’t want to play rookie and non defensive players or you guys can have 7 first round pick I just and a center that is willing to shot a 3 at least 2 times a game y’all take all our picks just give us Wendell man 😂
