As a UConn fan this Duke brotherhood thing annoys me. The only reason Flagg is going to Duke over UConn is because of this supposed brotherhood and all the nba connections they have. From a coaching and basketball perspective, UConn is a level above Duke these days.

It’s hard not to compare him to MAXED OUT Gordo but in all honesty, Cooper is like 2022-23 Tatum.
Exceptionally well rounded player, jumper is streaky but game looks good.
The league always goes farther as things progress and Cooper could very well be the next evolution. Just like Tatum idolized Kobe but shaped his game for a league that was changed by LeBron – and LeBron was Magic in wing form.
I believe Cooper ends up with a floor of peak Utah Hayward, a median of pre prime Tatum and a ceiling somewhere around peak Tatum or Larry Bird. He has the frame and athleticism to be THE PERFECT stretch 4 in the modern game. His passing, rebounding and defense are out of this world and he has the offensive bag of an actual featured scorer.
