Watch him have an MVP caliber season as soon as all our superstars are gone

100% of the time, he’s available 12% of the time.

I’ve heard this 3 times already.

The good thing is with minimal stakes I’m actually fine hearing this all the time. Because if he gets hurt I won’t be upset about it, it would probably help the tank if anything.

Obviously hoping he stays healthy, but that’s not too hopeful given the track record

  6. Contract year, he has to do something on the court this season.

Essentially a copy-and-paste from last year

Sure. And will that last two weeks or three weeks? In all fairness, he was much faster last season than the season before. But all that size and speed only goes so far though since he won’t/can’t shoot.

Ben Simmons about to be fully healthy and play All NBA level and ruin the tank

I won’t be convinced he’s fully healthy until I see some summertime videos of him shooting 3 pointers on a half empty court

100% physically, 8.5% mentally. Release him and move on. Let him be the basketball Prince Harry or whatever he thinks he is

I swear if Ben leads this team deep into the playoffs and fucks our picks up I’ll be mad

Oh, he will definitely play to the point that it might boggle you—at least 60 games. But the real question is whether any NBA teams would be foolish enough to offer him a new contract beyond 2 years (with the 2nd year as a team option), despite whatever stats he’s going to produce this new season. I predict those stats will show a massive spike, especially with the Nets entering a rebuild phase.

  15. Wait. Deja Vu. Is there something wrong with the Matrix?

Contract year! It’s time to secure the next one!

His future with Brooklyn better be fucking certain, he has none. Either for some sort of value by the deadline or just leaving for nothing but open cap space

Please keep him and his drama away from this team. We need to wash our hands clean of this era
