The San Antonio Spurs haven’t won more than 34 games in any of the last 5 seasons and they still have by far the highest win percentage of any NBA team since 2000

The top 5 teams by win % since 2000 are the Spurs, Mavericks, Celtics, Heat and Lakers.

Spurs: 63.5%

Mavericks: 59.1%

Celtics: 56.7%

Heat: 55.8%

Lakers: 55.1%

It just shows how dominant the franchise has been despite missing the Playoffs in the last 5 years.

They won 60+ games 6 times and 55+ games 14 times.

From 2000-2016 they didn’t get below 50 wins.

    It’s insane.

  2. ThinkSoftware

I would not have guessed the Mavericks would be second

winning 5 titles actually looks like underachievement with these results

Yep, no one can say Pop ain’t the goat imo. Idc that Spurs have had some insane draft luck, tons of teams have, yet stuff like this is unprecedented in sports. What a dynasty they were with Duncan, and now soon with Wemby again

Damn when you put it this way our 1 title looks so disappointing 😭 3 appearances isn’t bad though

This upcoming season they winning 47 games!

That won’t last long at this rate. What’s odd though is that the Mavs would move into 1st. With only 1 title in the last 24 years. There’s been a lot of heartbreak in Dallas.

Another argument as to why Pop is the Goat

My jazz at 6th with not even a finals appearance in that time🙃

  10. I think if nothing unfortunate happens, the top three teams will be the same for next decade or so.

Damn even giving other teams 5 years to catch up, we still the best!

  12. Consistently great regular season team, but have the same amount of rings as the Warriors and less than the Lakers in that time span.

  13. This also shows you how bad the Warriors were before their dynasty.

I think they will surprise people this season, probably the best possible fit for Chris Paul currently. Could be an OKC 2.0

Just another reminder that Dirk was HIM. Not to mention the western conference wasn’t a cake walk that entire time either.

Speaks volumes as to how good that Front Office and Coaching was…. It’s not just one player, it’s how good they adopted to the system and were able to compete every year.

  17. Yea….tony parker, duncan and manu stayed winning even has they got into their twilight years
