so coach first off with with ch what are the things that are standing out so far uh he knows how to play the game he’s very smart um he knows the timing he knows spacing and uh he’s willing to play with other guys which is very important and he’s even communicating a lot which is great for a young guy does it help that he had four years of college experience um it’s not it’s not always that case in all scenarios I think a lot of it is is him as a person and uh the character that he is so I would like to say yeah but you know it’s not always the case so like he it’s it’s him with J you know most people talk about his shooting but from what you’ve seen so far being around here what else does he bring to the table it seems like he’s a more versatile C I I I think he’s really tough I think um he’s underrated tougher than uh people give him credit for uh and he’s quick he can get down he can Stampede drive and he’s a really good passer honestly especially coming off the left he makes really good decision passes so um I want him to stay aggressive and um shoot the ball but I also want him to show other parts of his game as well you sense Anthony more confident showing more leadership qualities perhaps year absolutely he’s doing a great job of communicating uh we’re we’re having him use his voice more and he does it and he’s starting to recognize when he’s not doing and he’s aware of it which is grow so I think he’s doing a good job right now and uh he’ll continue to get better and better for guys that don’t currently have an NBA contact what’s your main message to them obviously they’re fighting for spots whether it be or somewhere else what’s kind of the messaging you want to give advice you give trust in what comes easy to you uh do the best you can do play hard uh be willing to listen and learn and uh most of those positions that they’ll be in like they have to be very supportive and understanding and like relaying the message and speaking the same language so just having that trust and support helps I know it’s early but any idea as far as playing time minutes for Kristen Anthony jck is it going to kind of be a case by case basis yeah we’ll see how it goes we’ll see how it goes so Tristan first off just how excited are you one day away from playing your first summer yeah super excited um you know this the first time we going out there and uh to do it with a group group of guys like this is is very special um so I’m I’m pumped what are the main things that you want to be able to Showcase throughout this summer uh just playing the right away you know uh passing guys like like Jay Huff the ball um nah but um you know we we got a good good group of guys that all know how to play and I’m I’m trying to fit into that um buy to this culture of the Land of Magic um and just play my my style of basketball Jamal Mosley obviously is here watching kind of tutoring I would imagine a little bit has he talked to you a lot over the last couple weeks kind of explain to what he want from PR R year yeah I mean um you know he’s he’s big on playing the the right way so uh I already talked to him about about what they want on offense what they want on defense uh you know the first the first day basically I was out there in Orlando um so and he’s really close with all the players um so it’s you know super easy to talk to and um I love I love picking his brain but also the other coaches and your comfort with jet and Y so far practicing some time together you already sense for sure yeah for sure um yeah super funny guys um obviously great basketball mind so uh I’m looking forward to playing with them for sure what are the things maybe that are underrated about your gam people that don’t maybe talk about things that you bring to the table that kind of gets overshadowed a little uh I mean I don’t I don’t know how people talk about my game uh really so I don’t know what they what they think is underrated or or not um but you know I’m playing the right way uh doing the right reads um um you know I can do a little bit of everything so it’s not um it’s not like there’s one thing that stands out so je going into your second year not just but your entire career do you sense yourself having more confidence maybe even some qualities that maybe you didn’t necessarily happen no for sure I for sure have more confidence more comfortable um a little leadership quality just cuz I know everything and um Ben did it already so just helping out if like you know a guy doesn’t know a defensive drill or princip and um just helping in that aspect for sure when people talk about your game obviously shooting is the first thing that comes to mind but do you feel like there are other aspects of the game don’t get enough attention that you feel really good at I feel like I’m a pretty good passer um coming in I felt like that and um you know I kind of gets overlooked a little bit um but um it’s a good time to Showcase it I feel like so I know you talked a lot about this last year your G League experience do you feel like it’s going to elevat being even more going forward for sure that was like a big um growing point for me this year and um the g- league worked wonders for me so for sure what stands out so far time practicing just like his natural feel for the game um um just his awareness he knows where to be at the right times shoots good shots um good teammate and like he’s just super comfortable already and Anthony do you sense growth this game you seen so far for sure you know he’s making threes now consistently um he’s growing is a leader um we’re following his lead this summer league and um you know I think he’s doing a good job so far what are the main things that you want to get out of Summer leue obviously you want to get more reps in but is there something you really want to highlight in your game for yourself or for the coaches to see probably the defensive side of the ball and just understanding you know how to perfect my role and U be good at that and not get out of that um so just probably just perfecting
