I wish him all the best it sucks how much his value has dropped offÂ

Hopefully, he goes to the Knicks. They are easy to cheer for.
I like Maxey, Lowry, and PG, but I wouldn’t be able to stand seeing Embitch win a title.

Surprised that NN wants to deal with Gary’s “effort” on defense. He called him out pretty hard 2 years ago. “If he doesn’t work hard on that end, then he doesn’t fit on this roster” – or something along those lines.

For a vet min? Crazy bag fumble.

Damn picking between two hard ass coaches, they’ll probably be able to get more out of him
Big_Albatross_3050
He played well under Nurse, so my guess is the Sixers. Especially if he plays well on a contender, he could get himself a nice payday

Unpopular opinion: I’m glad we’ve decided to move on from him. His inconsistency (since his Portland days) has become frustrating. I was hoping he’d be able to get on the right track, but being a flamethrower for a week, then disappearing for a month was unbearable. Seems like a good kid and I wish him the best, but I’m glad he won’t be wearing a Raptors jersey next season.
NBAball05
I rather the Knicks than sixers fuck embiid

Hope he goes for the Knicks, best chance for him to go far in the playoffs while also being on an actually likeable team.

Good options for playoff hopes. But terrible options for recouping his value.

So we lost Norm one of our most beloved players ever for no reason. Why exactly couldn’t we pay him again? I’m pissed
Decent_Pack_3064
That’s gonna be tough. He’s playing behind eric gordon, kelly oubre

I wish him the best. He is a true professional. Was in and out of the starting lineup and never complained Going to miss his fashion. Good luck GTJ

Playing on a contender will do him pretty well next season
canadianRSK
If he goes to the knicks they will be the deepest team in the nba no competition

Knicks please 🙏

Man I would much rather see him go to the Bucks or Nuggets. Nick Nurse seemed to hate the guy and I just don’t see him fitting in with the Knicks
Bobby_Webster
I think he’d have a much bigger opportunity on the Bucks or Nuggets.

To me Denver and Bucks both make more sense than Philly or Knicks in terms of style of play and opportunity. Getting the sort of open looks he would get in Denver, he could get back to be an 18PPG player.
Legitimate-Produce-2
No way he wants to back to Nurse lol and I thought nurse said he was unfixable
R-35
Seems about right…he’s not going to get paid big so he’ll be content to sign with a contender.
keeeeener
Thibs coaching him would be hilarious Ngl. He’ll have more competition on the knicks than the sixers though. Purely game time wise (and basically money wise to get his value up) he’d be dumb to choose the knicks. Hope he does though.
Jas--24
He won’t even get playing time on the Knicks because they’re deep and Thibs requires you to play defense. Â
Go to Philly at least where you can play lol
JackRyan8888
What’s the projected salary for Gary? I would think he’s valuable enough to get more like vet minimum, more like $5 to $7 mil on a one year deal.
ClashQuester
He would definitely be a starter on the Bucks and get more playing time on the Nuggets. Better fits for him imo

All the best to Gary Trent Jr. I will miss him.
Nick Nurse “where did it bring you, back to me”
