we get to talk about our team or should I say we have to talk about our team this is the least exciting summer league roster in NBA history by my count the Detroit Pistons summer league roster is out cart you you say you haven’t seen the names yet so let’s go through these names will Baker Aaron Estrada Devon higs cam Hankerson Ron Holland II danis Jenkins Jace Johnson Boby Clinton javante McCoy Sam Peak Marcus Sasser Jaylen Slawson tlu Smith Ross Williams that’s our summer league roster Greg they do know you’re allowed to take guys that aren’t on your g-league affiliation team correct I I thought so um but also like our our new front office guy just comes out and says yeah nobody wants to play here that’s his approach so apparently that translates to Summer League because nobody want wants to play for the Pistons summer league team either based on what I see in this roster what what is this where’s the undrafted guys we we I I guess Estrada but like according to this roster sheet 12 of these guys are are rookies 12 of these guys are firsttime guys I’ve just never heard of any of them like if we’re if we’re gonna do my who that guy exercise C can we do it sure who that guy Devon higs I do not know who that is who that guy cam Hankerson cam Hankerson Novi High School Michigan guy actually who that guy Jace Johnson I don’t know who that is he played at Marquette I watch Marquette I’ve never heard of that guy who that guy javante McCoy unaware who that man is who that guy Sam Peak also unaware who that man is who that guy Ross Williams also on o when we do these for other teams sometimes there’s one to two guys Max don’t know half this roster is someone I’ve never heard of I cover this sport for a living what are they doing why why do we have to go through this with this team you’re yawning this is our team you’re yawning I mean I there’s not there’s not much to do it for me here to be honest even though I will say this optimism Carter I’m a will Baker guy oh sick sick we get to be will Baker guys for two weeks let’s go uh oh my God man uh you like you like Hunter Dickinson don’t you this is Hun Hunter Dickinson at home will Baker’s uh Arby’s Hunter Dickinson I I want to known that Hunter Dickinson’s gonna have a special summer league run at some point there will be a time when he gets there also I think college basketball players should be allowed to play Summer League that’s a change that I would make imagine Hunter and AJ store on this team this is what this roster is inciting on us summer league roster changes because we don’t want want to discuss this roster what’s the starting five I can’t even come up with a starting five of guys I’ve actually heard of I don’t think uh I’mma go Marcus Sasser um good God uh Marcus Sasser Aaron I have one Aaron Estrada Ron Holland Boby Clint Clinton and will Baker tolu I’m going uh I’m going Marcus Sasser Aaron Estrada Ron Holland Jaylen SLA and tolu Smith Boby clemens’s not playing if I’m the coach on this team Jaylen Slawson is kind of fun yeah no actually when you list out just those five guys I’m I’m okay to watch this team like I will actually turn the games on but when you you get to the bench guys like seven through 12 this team’s going to lose every game they play is Ron Holland gonna be good that was my one question bright side like maybe everybody else is so bad it forces Ron Holland to do things we need him to do things why isn’t assar here he just got cleared the play so why isn’t he here why wait why isn’t he here you’re telling me I don’t know like talking about a second-year guy who like needs summer league assar is absolutely him I can’t believe he got left wait what this sucks I mean the the number one thing I would care about is like can we work out assar and Holland together and we’re not even gonna mess with it great also do we need to address that Jared Jack was our enemy last season as head coach of the summer league team and he’s now back to coach the team again I’m gonna fade us every game I will be except it’s not going to be good value it’s gonna be like minus 600 against the sun summer league team great car you know what I love about you that I’m handsome you’re reliable I can count on you you know honestly you remind me of Aaron Henry a little bit remember when like you know their back was against the wall nothing was going right and
