[Jake Weinbach] There’s growing belief that free agent Gary Trent Jr. would consider a below market one-year deal to reraise his value this season. The Nuggets, Bucks, Sixers, and Knicks are teams worth monitoring for the two-way guard as his camp mulls over appealing options.

Would be super annoyed if the Nuggets got him tbh

Nuggets interest has already been ruled out by their beat reporter. Bucks / Dame have been actively recruiting him for a while now but don’t have more than a minimum to offer. Knicks do not have a role that would be attractive to him. Philly makes the most sense out of these teams.

Is he really considered a two-way guard?

Go east. Not giving anything up for this guy. Also would suck to lose him like we did Monk

We’re not getting him. Why is this posted here?

Denver would be the best fit for him

Do not understand this sub’s obsession with him

Gary isn’t even a one way player. He plays zero ways at the nba level. Most unethical volume three point shooter I’ve seen and his first full year with the raptors was the only years he’s been near an average defender. Outside of that he’s been ass.
