I don’t really care how the results go but my wish list is
Chris Paul has a turn back the clock game against the Lakers, causing their fan base to have a meltdown, call him a bastard, and call for pelinkas Head for not getting Chris Paul to go to the Lakers because obviously as everyone knows everyone wants to go to the Lakers so it must have been his fault.
Victor continues working on his case for gaining full custody of Chet. Has it just dominant game on both ends against him and looks like the best player on the court the entire time
Jeremy, does something cheeky in Utah causing their entire fan base to make him public enemy number One and overreact for the next decade. The Babylon bee releases a poor attempt at creating a funny onion style article comparing him to antifa. The Mormons enjoy it.
We have a game against the Suns that involves their bench combining to score five points. Win or lose. There’s laughter to be had for everyone
Late in the game against the Lakers LeBron decides to sub his son in. He proceeds to hit two threes in a row causing the entire Lakers fan base to overreact and start having deep philosophical questions about why he wasn’t a lottery pick. Until Stefan Castle checks in for fellow garbage time minutes and proceeds to lock him up and score 15 points in the fourth.
Laker fans proceed to question Castle ceiling because of his jumper while pointing out. James Jr. ‘S. Fine sophisticated understanding of how to turn down jumpers and make the right pass.

As i said on r/NBA, that’s a pretty weird and “convenient” draw for the league. Except from Utah, all 4 other teams have consolidated rivaliries and beefs from past and present.
Putting all these together definitely helps rating and engagement, that’s why i’m not so sure that draw happened by chance.

This is off topic but this picture looks like in NBA Street (the first one) during City Circuit mode where you select which team you want to play next.
We need a new NBA Street with Wemby in it with maxed out block skills.

Am uh…I the only one here that thinks the Spurs could be the 2nd best team in this group? Just based on potential.
We’ve seen the peak versions of these Suns and Lakers. No one expects either team to magically be a top 3 seed in the West.
The Jazz will be solely reliant on what happens to Lauri.
OKC is a monster but the Spurs will hopefully match up better this year.
Again I only say 2nd best because we haven’t seen what this Spurs team can peak at. I fully expect a quick exit, but I’m optimistic that the Spurs are going to go into this wanting to win.
