[StatsMuse] – Bronny’s stats in 3 Summer League games: 15 PTS 6-26 FG 0-12 3P

To be 3 and D player, the objective should be to make 3s I would think

This is starting to get really bad his defense is solid and contributes on that side of the ball but if he can’t score at this level he’s obviously not ready for the nba

Definitely living up to his talent! I still believe he’s capable of being a solid role player.

This is why summer league is held. Bronny will be alright. He’s not played a full season of basketball since high school. And that was not all that long ago. He’s been thrust into the pro game. The best way to learn is through experience. He’s getting that now

Rooting for him but he needs alot of g league time

We don’t have to pretend that he got here on his own merits. It’s pure nepotism that he’s on an nba roster which is fine because lebron is basically the nba but we don’t have to pretend to act like bronny is a legit prospect

  2. LeaderBrandonBurner

What’s concerning is he isn’t forcing threes, he’s getting open shots and can’t get any to fall

  3. WelcometoHale

But did you see his hustle defense and team play?

  4. Pickleskennedy1

If getting a triple double meant getting two of every stat Bronny would basically be prime Westbrook

  5. Spiritual_Echo_1000

23% fg and 0% from 3 lol. he tried to defend tho lmao

  6. Spiritual_Echo_1000

his defense isn’t even astounding, it’s really only effort which isn’t enough

  7. EtTabellarius

Anyone that has played basketball at a competitive level would tell you that his defense isn’t as solid as we were made to believe. His defense is like defense being played in NBA 2k. As long as I keep watching my man and he doesn’t do well I am playing defense well. That is not the case, that disregards proper help defense. His team defense IQ is low and is being exposed more and more every level he moves up.

  8. TheBrainnnnnn

any other player with these stats wouldnt even make a g-league team and this kid got a guarantted 8m contract. lakers are a circus right now with multiple clowns

  9. imjustarooster

He’s gonna end up in Australia after all…

  10. Apprehensive-Job2219

For a sec I thought these were stats from just 1 game lol

  11. AllmyFriendsrDead77

Did we watch the same game? Reed flambéed him.

  12. MAMBAMENTALITY8-24

Calling bronny a 3 and d player is nasty. Cant hit 3s, cant defend. Summer league…so embarrassing

  13. jumboponcho

I could see if the misses were a lil short or long, but he be shooting some brickedy bricks

  14. It’s almost like he should’ve stayed in college for another 2 years before getting drafted

  15. john61020

When people defend him with “This is Summer League”. The truth is if you can’t score in Summer League, why can you score in the NBA?

  16. Maybe I’m watching a different game because his defense is not even good. It’s just passable and it doesn’t help that he’s so undersized

  17. FrostWPG

He’s got a promising future playing the 4th quarter of blowouts until his dad retires.

  18. Phenomenal2313

Bronny should 100000% be in the G-League the entire fucking season

But he’s for sure going to get minutes come opening night and let whoever he’s guarding straight up isolate

Johnny Davis/Killian Hayes/Kevin Knox look like all stars compared to Bronny

  19. PineappleTraveler

By nba standards he’s a midget with substandard athleticism. Nepotistic joke from a clown shoes organization. Unbelievable how the mighty have fallen. Dr. Buss should have spent more time teaching his kids how to run his franchise after he was gone and less time pedo-ing out on young girls.

  20. livecents84

Just last game laker fans and Bron Stan’s were gushing over his defense and calling him Jrue Holiday. What happened lmao?

  21. awibasedgod

it’s all good his contract is only guaranteed for 4 years

  22. OneOfPDiddysVictims

He sucks, this is obvious. Not his fault he was forced in this position. Hilarious to watch some lakers fans unironically say he’s gonna be good

  23. Unlucky-External5648

I broke a bone in my back in my young prime and was two years before I could play again. This guy is two years out of a heart attack.

I guess i hope for his success. Did he sign a 4 year deal? Thats a lot of taco Tuesday’s.

  24. makashiII_93

    He’s legit bad.

Congrats Bron, you got your kid drafted.

    Bad news: He’s a Make-A-Wish kid.

  25. CardinalDriver33

I mean I think it’s even hard to argue that he’s a good defender. He does NOT have a good defensive IQ at all. He’s a little quick which helps him a bit on-ball, but the man almost purposely goes directly into screens, doesn’t hustle back, constantly has his back to the ball…a few steals and blocks doesn’t make you a good defender

  26. He’s not an NBA player so I’m not sure why this is surprising lol. He’s here as a favor to Lebron which the more time passes the less I care about.

  27. Big_pappa_p

It’s as if he isn’t good enough for the pros…

  28. dating_derp

Despite how bad he is, has a 50+ pick EVER gotten a rookie contract as big as his? Drafting LeBrons son is one thing, but paying him that much is insane. And LeBron is rich rich. I don’t even know why he would force the Lakers to give Bronny that bag.

  29. HappyAtheist3

He’s not an NBA talent. Maybe if he stayed in college for 2-3 years but this is embarrassing

  30. CodyCryBabies69

LOLakers wasted a draft pick on this bum. send his ass to Australia

  31. >Earned not given like jj reddick said

He’ll start the first game of the season and not because he earned it.
