This is why summer league is held. Bronny will be alright. He’s not played a full season of basketball since high school. And that was not all that long ago. He’s been thrust into the pro game. The best way to learn is through experience. He’s getting that now

Anyone that has played basketball at a competitive level would tell you that his defense isn’t as solid as we were made to believe. His defense is like defense being played in NBA 2k. As long as I keep watching my man and he doesn’t do well I am playing defense well. That is not the case, that disregards proper help defense. His team defense IQ is low and is being exposed more and more every level he moves up.

He’s a little quick which helps him a bit on-ball, but the man almost purposely goes directly into screens, doesn’t hustle back, constantly has his back to the ball…a few steals and blocks doesn’t make you a good defender
