McGowens last game before being signed by Portland

One thing that’s always stood out about McGowens has been his ability to get to the line, despite his skinny frame. Looks like he’s added some size since last I really saw him during the draft process. Way more intriguing of a signing than Minaya.

Cronin has been pretty good at finding these sorts of guys so I will reserve my judgment I guess. However when I watch this highlight tape, a lot of these buckets don’t look like they will actually work against real NBA defenders tbh.

We have 3 2-way spots right? Looks like it’s this guy and Minaya. Do we have a 3rd? I’m surprised we didn’t bring back Ibou Badji, always thought he was the most intriguing prospect of all our 2-way contracts.

sir schmitz please assemble an army of 834 6-6 to 6-8 guys, we must find a shooter pronto. those who cannot hit 37% from 3 will be left behind in a furiously bloody haze that shall not be spoken of again.

Don’t know much about his game but his build and the way he moves reminds me a bit of Banton

Hornets fan here I’ll just be real, he is below average at every skill except for driving to the rim. He isn’t an elite finisher either which is why in that game he got like half his points off free throws (better defenders won’t give them up so easily)

There’s a chance he becomes a rotation player because he is an athletic 6’6 SF/SG but I’d like him to at least take a look at his shot and get a better feel for the game. Also bulk up.

Big playmaking combo guards appeal to Mr so…yeah he’s super young has size, and he’s flashed. Definitely a better swing than Hagans.
