He’s not playing under the pressure of having to land a new contract and expectations for him are down quite a bit, so I’m hoping that gives him the mental freedom to finally relax and play loose and free next season.

Issue is that players should be using the off-season to work on new parts of their game. They should be improving things. Being back for camp is great but it means there is zero development.
