how would you kind of characterize your first game getting out there obviously probably with some of these guys just play with you yeah for sure I mean first game uh they got a little nerves at the beginning but once they got out I feel like I kind of got going um I was I mean I was out there playing for my team just trying to do whatever it took it took the win whether it was making shots getting defensive stops and really just rebounding um and it was It was kind of difficult to figure it out like I said first game the NBA is different and I feel like I got comfortable and I think second game I’m going do a lot better seems like there was a lot of good ball movement too just big big passing and stuff like that you guys haven’t played that long as that kind of they say more about maybe the makeup of the guys that they brought in and the selfishness there yeah that’s one thing coach bigger stop definitely emphasizes um I mean we have a lot of guys that can get downhill and shoot the ball so I feel if we moving the ball and just playing on the perimeter well and really getting stop we really are to be see at the end of the night season you your injuries it’s your first time playing organized ball in front of all his fans of the G League how’s it feel to get out there it feels amazing to be back um like I said I haven’t played basketball since a lot of basketball since February um I’m here with a different team and I really love these I feel like we we’ve been getting after it in practice and first game we got the Lo we got the loss but we feel good we got go watch them them and get back to a second game how did it feel overall to finally get get out there get to play for your teammates a little bit and just your own performance as well it feels like I said amazing um just on the bus right here I’m I’m thinking in my head like I’m really in NBA now I mean everything that I’ve been doing up until this point don’t worry about it I got to I got to step on the court and still be run holl at the end of the day when you look back at times tonight and as you this is kind of like your first week on the job as a pro with piss first or maybe 10 days or so look at the draft how did g tonight prepare you for this moment I guess was it was it helping you kind of like knowing what’s going on right now I would say the main thing would be um not not letting think snowball um a lot of bad it’s it’s a long game a lot of good things is going to happen a lot of bad things going to happen teams going to go on runs and can’t get really too high or too low with this thing just keep keep everything steady keep your keep your pace and just really play the game you watch you watch other the rookies when you’re out there tell one more time you watch other the rookies when you’re out there been watching a lot of on TV um this is my first time being at the gym right now but I watch mod I watch Stefan Rob uh what’s his name Terence Shannon I’m saying a lot of these guys been doing good I mean Super P been playing against them really growing up really my whole life and like I said we all here competing so did you watch like SAR versus last night I didn’t get to watch it no do do you guys feel a common bount or something to prove that you know some people say oh this trap is that strong hear that uh I mean I got me personally I don’t pay attention to it um it definitely makes me mad that people to say that but I mean we go out here and play the game of basketball and just show each show everybody show the whole world why we really want the best competitive class um I feel like we got a lot of dudes that can go in this class and like I said we out here completing so we can really show that we’ve been talking about it for a while now you faced off against your night teammates especially modest uh how you feeling about that coming up feel amazing that’ll be the third game um I mean it’s it’s going to be a good one for sure we got a really good team they got a really good team so it’s going to be a show for sure you just had a birthday right yes sir so what did you do for your birthday um um I was in the gym yeah I was in the gym I ain’t really get to do much I had just got to Detroit um it was celebration they s happy birthday to me but other than that it was work was work time right say it again was there a birthday cake at least oh my bad um Kate Kate n it wasn’t no cake in season can’t do that yeah for sure hey Justin
