Damn I liked Badji, really thought he could have a Javele McGee career. Athletic, rim running 7 footer, with good defence. Doesn’t have a jumpshot but would well as a lob threat next to a proper playmaker.
My guess is Ayton is already that plus a smooth jumpshot, and Clingan has a considerably better feel for the game with some post moves and perimeter passing sprinkled in, which makes Badji just too much of a project with better options worth investing into

This was a surprise to me, too. Heard the announcers say his name and I got a lil bummed. Wished we would have kept him over Minaya.

Watching him struggle with the Remix last year while Moses dominated the same competition showed how far Badji needs to go in order to be an NBA player.

Nice, glad he had a solid game
With Clingan I don’t really care much about Badji being elsewhere. His ceiling is much higher. Would rather try to find diamonds in the rough at any other position.
