No way I sign this guy OVER ORLANDO BROWN. BROWN is 6ft 11,, รขgรฉ 24, and can run. What McVeigh go do?? I guess they want DIVERSITY over there.

Says heโs a shooter, we kinda of need that and based on game against team USA isnโt a complete turnstile on defense , might be interesting.

Iโve joked about it previously but I feel like for the first time in rockets history we have a full 52 man roster ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

Mcveigh is a big shot taker and big shot maker. Does everything. He has raised his game so much in the last 2-3 years. Insane to see what work and perspective can do.

wow, great signing but Rockets are deep. No minutes for Landale or McVeigh
McVeigh.
Big offensive weapon with grit/hustle. 6’8 and very confident to lead his team to the title in Australia. Quality set shooter plus is good in the post/nifty cuts.
Not sure his ideal situation as needs minutes and HOU are stacked with young developing talent.

Kiwis and Aussies are like Canadians and Americans. We give each other some shit because we love them the most.

If he makes the main roster can we get a Mad Max day where you get Rockets swag for dressing like Mad Max extras?

JackJumpers loss and Houstons gain. This is what you get in Jack McVeigh. This happened a couple of months ago in NBL grand final series!
This guyโs story is really cool. He was an incredibly talented junior. Used to absolutely dominate Australian national tournaments at the youth level. Went to the University of Nebraska and had a very underwhelming career. Signed in Australia and again didnโt look like a pro player. But every season he got better and better. Worked really hard, focused on mindfulness practices and this past season was the Finals MVP (including a crazy three to win game 3) and made the Olympic team.
If you told anyone he would achieve this even a year ago, theyโd call you crazy. Only exception would be Jack himself. Really impressive self-confidence on the guy. Love to see it.
