Bucks sign GARY TRENT JR REACTION

this is not a drill Bucks fans it’s actually happening we have brought in Scary Gary Trent Jr on a one-year deal the Milwaukee Bucks who went into free agency with no cap space only the ability to offer minimum deals and we couldn’t even move off of our guys that we would want to because we don’t have assets to unload a contract we didn’t want in Pat conon so Matt W just tweeted out that the Bucks have added Gary Trent Jr on a one-year deal uh if any more updates come during this video I will let you know but the assumption is this is on a minimum deal and so before free agency I made a video talking about the top 10 targets for free agency for the Milwaukee Bucks Gary Trent Jr did not make the list because I in my wildest dreams did not think Gary Trent JR could be gotten on a minimum deal Gary Trent Jr for him I’ll be honest I um I wouldn’t even think if he was going to sign a minimum deal that he would want to do it with the Milwaukee Bucks I would think that he would want to replace kcp with the Nuggets especially seeing how Malik Beasley came to the Bucks was one of the best three-point Shooters in the league and still only signed a $6 million deal with the Pistons for so for him I would have never imagined that this this would be the move he’d want to make but as a bucks fan I am now feeling great again for the first time in a while and and I think we might just have the best roster in the NBA again if this Bucks team is healthy because I’m sure there are non buuck fans that will laugh at that but you’ve got to think the last time the Bucks were close to healthy it wasn’t that long ago the Bucks won a championship year after Chris Milton goes down they lose in seven because Bobby poris can’t get out to Grant Williams and Brook Lopez and then the year after that Giannis is out in the first round Drew holiday can guard Jimmy Butler and this past year Giannis and Dam out if this buck team can remain healthy it is now a starting lineup of Damien dollars then now Gary Trent Jr who averaged 18 and 17 two and three years ago 16 before that 15 before that 15 before that this was his worst year this past year where he averaged 14 points a game but he still shot 39% from three that’s your starting two guard that is probably your fifth option and defensively he is better than Malik Beasley he’s not necessarily A Lockdown Defender but bare minimum that man has dog in him and he remains locked in he’s not a guy that falls asleep on defense the way I’ve seen from other guys that have been on the Bucks especially the young guys this guy has that dog in him he’s been well coached throughout his career he’s been coached by Nick nurse he’s been coached by Coach K and college should have won a national championship with that Duke team if Trayvon Duval had what people thought he was going to have out of high school but that’s a whole other story um anyway uh so you have Gary TR J at the two Chris Middleton who was averaging 258 and seven something like that the last two years in the playoffs and he’s been healthy for those and then you’ve got Giannis Brook Lopez Off the Bench Bobby poris andoran Prince I know there are Bucks fans that are talking about play the young guys no John horse can’t draft we don’t need the young guys do not play the young guys at all just give up on it I don’t care if we stink after Giannis this is the window maximize it that is our tight rotation if we have to go deeper d right you could give him a little bit of minutes Pat con I know Bucks fans hate him but you can rely on him for a 10 to 15 minutes as a fifth option type of guy if needed the young guys if they overpro themselves give them a chance I like Tyler Smith maybe in the regular season dabble a little bit but right now the Bucks have a full rotation of solid contributors a starting five of guys that are actually all highlevel starters all above average starters and three of them are all star level guys off the bench you have Bobby poris who’s in The Run running for Sixth Man of the Year seventh man toan Prince I know Lakers f hated on him last year but that’s because he was starting the entire time getting 35 minutes a game but he still numbers wise did pretty well and his defense was okay they just had to rely on him so much if we could put him now as the seventh man it’s all about health now it’s really all about health and honestly I hated that Doc Rivers hired I always Fel thought he was the most overrated coach in NBA history he’s been discussed as one of the best coaches ever to me he’s one of the worst coaches ever when you consider all he’s had in production but all that aside Bucks fans we’re not blaming coach it’s time for these stars to get it done because Dame Giannis Chris Middleton Gary Trent Jr Brooke Lopez I’m sorry it doesn’t matter what system you put them in I believe in them and the problem had been for the bucks um even if they were healthy playing a team like the Celtics is their fifth option is like Derek white or Drew holiday but now our fifth option is Gary Trent Jr that’s not that far off like Derek white offensively versus Gary Trent Jr that’s not that’s comparable and then you consider that our best player Giannis is definitely better than anyone on the Celtics Damen Lillard is as good as probably their best player Chris Middleton is in that same um tier of guys this Bucks team is looking great um the only thing maybe that could be a weakness is adding one more big that is uh capable of Defending uh versally where Brook Lopez can only defend the r rim Bobby pis can’t guard a soul so if I’m the bus the only thing I’m thinking about doing is let’s think about moving Bobby poris we have Gary Trent Jr who’s averaged 18 points a game we know what Dame does we know what midi does we know what Giannis does uh Brook Lopez maybe we’d be willing to move him but at least he protects the rim and he’s old so teams won’t want him if I’m John horse the only move left to left to do is say we have more scoring we than we could ever need let’s think about think about don’t just do it for a terrible return pack package but let’s think about moving Bobby poris for a guy that gives us more options defensively because we have more offense than you could ever want that’s the only move that the buck should even be thinking about at this point but I believe in this Buck team if healthy that is a big if but if healthy this is the best team in the NBA going into next season and y’all know if anyone that’s been at this channel y’all know I will criticize the Bucks I will say where we are bad our draft picks are terrible John horse cannot draft and that is a problem but overall I think we are left with the best team going into next season let
