Guard is easily going to be our weakest spot. I don’t really put too much weight into PF when the roster is structured in a way that wings and forwards will be very switchable. But having 2/3 of our top rotational guards be 35 and 38 years old is very concerning. McCain might get some quick development opportunities this year

Milwaukee is just straight up not going to defend anybody this year, I would have loved him but not to start (let alone alongside a small guard)
He’s not that good not a big deal.
So our current starting lineup is Maxey, Oubre Jr, George, Martin, Embiid and the bench as of right now is Lowry, Gordon, Council IV, KJ Martin, Drummond. Honestly not that bad, maybe add another shooting guard and we need a forward with size like a RoCo perhaps if he’s healthy and we are good to go. Bummer Batum would rather re-sign in LA. He would be so damn perfect at the 4.

fuck… that would have been a huge pickup. Would be awesome if we could get Luke Kennard on a vet min but I’ll think he’ll get more than that. Dowtin might end up being our other Guard off the bench to start the season.
Milwaukee could guarantee him a starting spot, we weren’t gonna do that. Makes sense he chose to go there.
