what compels a 7 foot 300 pound man to play basketball like this

  2. tight_butthole

hate when i jump into someone and fall over because i lost my balance

  3. Niceguydan8

So *this* is why he’s been ducking Jokic at home for years. Makes sense.

Is there a discussion thread for this game?

Can’t wait for the inevitable ā€œEmbiid is flopping all over the court while Paul George’s shots are hitting the side of the backboardā€ during a second round elimination game.

What a normal NBA player does in this situation: Pivot inside and score an easy layup against a terrible rim protector

What Joel Embiid does in this situation:

We need these refs in the NBA

I just woke up from a 6-month coma, glad to see things haven’t change a bit in r/NBA

Loded balance is certainly one way to put it

  10. sstphnn

Damn, bro almost fell on that guy’s leg.

  11. BigCrawgaDawga

It’s the ā€œet tu?ā€ look he often gives the ref that does it for me

  12. TraffLaw

It’s called foul baiting not losing his balance

  13. He is chirping the ref as he falls. Trying to draw fouls like that in FIBA is a losing cause. Go up and punch it down don’t swing into the guy coming to guard you. Make a basketball play.

Please Silver, bring this style of officiating to the NBA

The LBJ entry bounce pass was sick though.

  16. Instantcoffees

Haha, they ain’t calling that in FIBA buddy.

The most annoying part of this is that he is so capable of scoring without flopping, like if that’s the only way for a guy to make it in the nba, I get it. Do what you gotta do for a paycheck. But he has good touch in the post, can hit jumpers, great defender, just needs to stop falling down constantly and he’d be one of my favorite players.

This is NOT a highlight šŸ˜‚

  19. He could have had a clean shot but decided to swing his arms into the opposing player.

Then he looks at the ref after lol. The NBA has a problem on how it plays basketball. Americans have to defend the flopping now lol.

I know this is a shit on embiid post but that was a sick pass from lebron.
