That was interesting. It was cool to hear him open up – he totally could have given a bunch of lines/generic bullshit, but it was neat to hear him say that he’d never really thought about coaching, but that he thinks he understands what makes a good player.
I think is tone of “I’m committed to figuring out how to be as impactful as possible for this organization I care about” fills me with more confidence than if he’d said “I have the secret sauce.”
