Maxwell: Celtics Fans Should Be HAPPY About Jaylen Brown Olympic Snub

In the most recent episode of The Cedric Maxwell Podcast, Cedric and Josue Pavon react to Jaylen Brown being left off of the Olympic Team, and his recent comments about the situation. They discuss whether or not he should be there, and whether his comments are disrespectful to Derrick White.

Cedric shares his unique perspective that Celtics fans should actually be HAPPY about the situation, when most are seeing it as a cause for anxiety. He cited what took place this past season, where Jaylen Brown didn’t make the All-NBA team and followed it up by becoming the best player in the playoffs.

“If Jaylen wants to take offense to anybody or anything, these things happen. And now what he can do is hold his world championship ring…his $300 million contract and say ‘so what?'”
