Hey bought houses for all of his family nearby his and like others said his kids still live there. I’m sure he had a dope ass house there he didn’t want to just give up, plus living there for 10 or more years it’s probably his home now even after the NBA. I think he wants to be with the bucks but views it as a temporary business decision that realistically is maybe 3-4 years. I’d guess he just has a condo or apt here for during the season.

NBA players usually have multiple homes. Especially the ones making max and supermax kind of money.
Tons of players buy homes out in LA to train in the summer or to have as vacation spots for example, even if they don’t play in California.
As long as Dame shows up and plays like a superstar, then I don’t care where he lives at in the offseason.

He’s lived their 10-ish years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. I think Giannis has the same feeling for Milwaukee. He’s been here so long it feels like a home away from home.

Rodgers also went back to Cali in the offseason and I know Giannis makes trips to Greece as well. I think players just like going back to what reminds them of home because of how often they’re away from it during their careers.

Right before he got traded , his castle he had built just got finished with it’s own court and everything. The guys family is all here and has been here, kids are here. Don’t see why it’s a surprise

I would bet that if God forbid Giannis leaves, he’d do something similar since by all indications he likes living here.
