The whole Gary Trent story is so strange. He gave us lots of joys and highlights. During our last season with the trades and injuries, many nights he was the best player on the floor.
But I do see there was a mismatch between what he was and what the Raptors wanted. It’s like a relationship that doesn’t end out of anger, but just when both sides realize the relationship isn’t developing like they expected.
I’ll still be cheering Gary just as much as I do Pascal, Freddie & OG!

Not trying to be a homer, but maybe I am but Gary is an awesome dude. Even if things don’t work out I find Raptors moving or losing core pieces always stings a bit because they always look for high character individuals.
