I watch mainly the Rockets but I do pay attention to the West. Mavericks should be a couple of wins better. The Rockets might win 50 through internal development but won't over-take the Mavs. Sheppard looks better than I thought but, like you said, he won't get that many minutes with Fred VanVleet starting. Memphis is hard for me to judge – I think they got better but I can't tell how much. Like you, I don't think the Pelicans know what they are doing – nothing fits. Spurs got better but they are still tanking so don't expect too many games added to the W column. I think the West is due for a shake-up this coming season. Suns, Warriors, Pelicans & Lakers will either stagnate or drop in the rankings. I predict the Rockets and Memphis make the playoffs.

Josh u are just a Castle hater quite clearly. Not big enough to guard more than 1s and 2s? Lol he’s almost 6’7 in shoes and 215lbs with 6’9 wingspan what are you talking about please stop and his offense has plenty of upside
Cp3 working with Castle is huge and will matter. Of course Josh doesn’t buy into things like that though lol
I think Castle did show more on ball play than expected during SL but I think the PG narrative might hurt peoples perception/expectations of him. I still like to think of him more as a derrick white type player where he isn't a flashy high usage monster but can make those simple high IQ on/off ball plays when he can. Derrick Whites Gleague Usage was at 31% but was at the 15-22 % range when with the Spurs. I can imagine Spurs implementing a similar development plan involved with Castle.
