It wouldn't suck if you've been driving to Philly to watch games your entire life.
The NY Giants and Jets both play in NJ and nobody cares. The Philadelphia 76ers can play in Camden in their own arena and everybody will probably just take the PATCO over the same way people in Jersey have been doing for years!
The Problem is that people in Philly think Camden is like an hour away for some dumbass reason since it's over the water.

Why would it stun the fanbase ? At least half or more of the fans live in NJ.
Tell them to get their own franchise, a bunch of greedy corporate people that don’t give a damn about the team and nostalgia, same thing with the name changes with the stadiums, I understand you have advertising and marketing but leave the team and arena names alone
Stop with the "Sports Complex is cool" nonsense. A downtown arena will pump millions into local businesses, Septa, and the City budget. Not to mention the environmental impacts of turning hundreds of thousands of car trips (with tons of idling in stadium traffic) a year into public transit trips. No cool view is worth losing out on all that for the whole god damned city. This is the kind of parochial foolishness that keeps Philly considered a second class city.
