These slo motions really expose these players. His fingers were almost fully under the ball on 3 dribbles. That’s obviously the game now but that’s a big part of why you don’t see short guards anymore. Back in the day you needed a short guard for his “ball handling” ability above all. If 6’6 guys with huge ass hands can palm/cuff/carry the ball every time up the court, obviously they will beat the press/be able to dribble threw. If they enforced the carry rule half of these forward gaurd combo players would not be labeled as such.
