  1. Thank you Rich. It’s not that Team USA has gotten worse. The world has simply studied us/the NBA and gotten better. Ppl need to quit moaning and groaning and acting like we’re gonna jump back in time to when Team USA would play against people who only played in rec leagues on Saturdays. With as many international players in the league today and all the time international teams spend together, it’d be odd if the non-USA teams didn’t improve.

Edit: Also, idk abt you guys but I don’t need or want blowouts every game. Thats boring. Entertaining games are the ones that are actually competitive.

  2. What country in the world has actually caught up to US in terms of overall talent & depth? The answer is NONE!

If we need our absolute best players to beat teams like South Sudan & Germany, then the World has not caught up, but absolutely surpassed us in basketball!!! We are struggling to beat G-League & role players on average with Superstars!

  3. They may be more decorated , but 2 thoughts – the current team doesn't have the heart that the dream team did , great talents but they don't have the heart. 2nd thought – who is the leader of this team ? The leader will set the tone defensively , and who is that???

  4. The dream team shared the basketball. They showed the world how to play, now we don’t play like that. Share the ball and we can’t be beat

  5. I love seeing mericans realizing that it’s not a given to win these things. Look at sprinting Jamaica can and washed the Americans. Given enough time and resources African players have the length and athleticism to compete. This ain’t 92 and those days are gone.
