Zach coming off the bench is not going to work. The question is, who wants him? I don't trust P Will being healthy either. The same thoughts about Lonzo. The Bulls are stuck with three injury prone players. I feel bad for Matas and Julian Phillips. Both players looked good in the summer league. I would like to see if there's an opening for DJ Steward to move up. I'm not too high on Jevon Carter.
🙂🤣🙃🥲😆😂 He’ll naw. Start Adama. Give Matas a a bench spot. There are some guys ahead of him in rotation, but not for long. He is a talented hooper. Let him get some seasoning. Let him get some development. They are not going to bs his career. He won’t disappoint. Let’s stop crowing him the future. We have some guys that have proven themselves that everyone is dismissing. It’s a huge mistake to discount Ayo N Coby. These guys are getting better and they are the future of the NBA. Chicago is looking good. Matas is definitely a part of that. We needed his size and ability. I still want a 7 footer that can play defense and bang with the biggest. Agile, not slow. Not a 6’9” guy they are calling 6’10” an actual behemoth to back Adams. Then we scraping people. Remember how we used to close out games with Tyson Chandler and Eddie Curry? You get one shot per possession in crunch time. Them boys were not giving up easy shots or rebounds. If Ben Gordan didn’t grab his eggplant, we would have won the chip. We need to be about defense and boards. Guys can catch alley oops on the break and have fun, if they play defense. I miss Scott Skillz.
The Bulls have some decisions to make. I think LaVine and Craig gotta go – Carter can stay as a mentor role for the young guys as he is very high-IQ player and vocal locker room presence. And I don't mind having Vooch in there especially since we have no other true Center now, and Vooch can do some facilitating and passing, just needs to stop taking 3's!! I think Matas and Lonzo are coming off the bench till they figure some things out, but that Matas will get a lot of playing time pretty quickly especially if he continues to shine on the defensive end, AND can work on his outside shot.
