Coach Kerr is starting Curry over Edwards and Embiid over Davis. At this point, what for… It’s obvious who the better players are for Olympic competition. When the Group Stage begins on Sunday, Team USA should start the best players, not the favorites. Put the Anthony’s in.

I’m sorry but Curry is absolutely overrated right now. There’s no way in hell Curry can be argued over LeBron at this point.
LeBron – 26/8/7 on 54/41/74 (63 ts%), 1 steal, .5 blocks
Curry – 26/5/5 on 45/41/92 (61.6 ts%), .66 steals, .34 blocks
LeBron is literally more efficient than Curry even though he sucks at free throws which heavily boosts true shooting. He does every single thing on offense better. Volume scoring, efficiency, assisting. And then on the other side of the ball he’s better at rebounding, perimeter defense, interior defense. Not to mention if he gets gassed he’s still a menace on both sides of the court due to his size while Curry becomes a defensive liability immediately. I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can watch the two play and argue that Curry is the better player right now.
Because the other two players in the starting lineup aren’t set with KD coming back
EDIT: Nevermind, I thought you meant the graphic. It’s a no brainer that Curry starts alongside Lebron. AD should be starting too if they’re not going to have a PG for the 2nd unit. That’s when you start feeding Embiid post ups
Curry is better than ant overall and a far better shooter. He’s far more needs than ant. Davis I argee with.

Why would you bench Curry? He’s literally one of the best guys to have along side Lebron since he’s a shooter. Also no have AD on the bench my reasoning is he doesn’t have to play much. Better be well rested for the regular season instead of risking an injury in the Olympics.
If you still think Anthony Edwards needs to start you clearly haven’t been watching the games. He still hasn’t learned how to play an off-ball role. He shouldn’t even be starting over Booker, let alone Curry.
Bro lost all credibility when he mentioned curry. But yes embiid does not work in a system that is not revolving around him.
Imo the best starting lineup would be: jrue, curry, bron, kd, ad
