It’s perhaps not a great look to disparage a teammates abilities during a tournament, but Embiid is only saying what everyone else has been. Lebron, whilst amazing still, is not as good as he once was.

LeBron has declined a bit. Prime LeBron is the absolute best player in the league at several key things: offense, defense, playmaking, and clutchness. Not “one of the best,” but THE BEST. Not “the best when motivated,” but consistently THE BEST.
Since 2020, Bron’s defense has not been engaged consistently (which is understandable, as he’s older and has to conserve energy). Also, he longer cares about being the top scorer, carrying the offense, and constantly saving his teammates. He “trusts” them and really needs a lot of breaks.
However, his athleticism has not dipped significantly over time. His shooting is as good as it’s ever been. And, most importantly, he can still “flip the switch” sometimes.
But he doesn’t want to be the go-to guy and shouldn’t be used as such. He wants to pick his spots and score within the flow of the game. He’s a rhythm shooter and a rhythm scorer. He’s not an “automatic weapon” like Curry and KD.
I love the fact he’s had these brilliant moments during the exhibition games, but I don’t expect it to continue. I predict a balanced effort from Team USA the rest of this way. If KD returns, he’ll be the primary scorer. If not, someone like Curry might have to step up.

Embiid is horse shit compared to most of the players on the US team . He’s lazy on defense, slow on getting back down the court and isn’t producing at any level compared to those he’s criticizing. This dog shit bit*h hasn’t even gotten to a finals ever. How dare he talk about anyone else on this team . My take is if he got hurt today, we’d be better off with any of the other centers starting in his place.
