  1. The draft picks suck, and the team sucks. I don't think you'll have anything exciting to talk about for 5+ years. That's just my prediction. They will trade Scottie Barnes 3-4 years from now to start another rebuild. But as of right now, they are hopeless.

  2. Jakobe another gary, mogobo another precious and shead cant shoot…? That chomche guy i like tho

  3. Ahhhh, the Bleacher Report, the source of suggested trades that would consistently be terrible for the Raptors.
Imo, Mogbo is the pick that can be questioned most. The others fit where they were picked. Time will tell.

  4. Gtj average over 12 I already place my bet. Let see how many of these dollar store players can reach that. Lol ujiri the great.

  5. Cant complain though the Raptors won it all in 2019 and was a good team for at least a decade. Cznt say much for the Jays or Leafs.

  6. Walter and Sheade were so-so. Mogbo was a bad pick. Comche shows promise. There has been a startling decline In Masai’s trades and draft choices from 2019 onwards. Barnes is the exception.

  7. even if the raptors drafted the exact players they all think we should of they would still find a way to shit on us

  8. The only disappointment I had about summer league was Gradey and Mogbo got hurt. Gradey is going to be at least a high tier player, he was flying all over the place, creating space for everyone else to score. Amazing, he's working to be more than a shooter, it's no coincidence they couldn't score when Gradey wasn't there attracting the other team's attention.

  9. Ben, you have to admit the Raptors missed out Filipiwski , he could have had a impact right away. The Raptors needed shooting and height. Wasn't impressed with Walter , didn't stand out at all. I do hope the rookies pick it up. Carlson was my guy , I hope he solidifies his position in the rotation backing up Olynk. I also hope to see Koloko soon. Obagji was disaster and might be gone by season opening.

  10. Carlson saved raptors this summer league. And avg over 10 points as a undrafted rookie. And you show the man no love wow.

  11. What the Raptors did was replace GTJ with Mitchell, which was a good thing because it ensures playing time for some Of the young players. Other than that, they totality turned over the 3 Rd string players, if the outcome is 1 of them pans out, and 1 of the 2 ways pans out in 2 years, that would be great. It is year 1 of the rebuild. They have 2 pics for next draft. Then maybe by summer of 26, decision will need to be made. I will go with the trace record of the Raptors for developing players rather than a Bleacher Report guy, if he was that insightful, he would be working for a team😊

  12. These guys are all development projects. Gotta lower those expectations. They will learn and improve. What's most important is the basketball iq and fit in system and team philosophy.

But for me I think the most concern this season is size. Raps have a ridiculous trove of back court so hoping to filter out the ones that dont fit. Front court not so much. We will get bodied up front. Crossing fingers for koloko to attend training camp and sticking with the main roster.

  13. The Raps 4 rookies will struggle to be a part of their projected regular 9 man rotation (Poeltl, Barnes, Barrett, Brown, IQ, Mitchell, Olynyk, Dick, Agbaji) to begin the regular season – barring injuries. The 4 rookies will most likely make up the core of the 905 for the most of the season. Raps could still make a trade/free agent signing as well. The Raps current roster/depth chart:

    CP: Poeltl/Olynyk

    PF: Barnes/Boucher/Mogbo

    SF: Barrett/Dick/Temple

    SG: Brown/Ogbaji/Walter

    PG: Quickley/Mitchell/Shead

    Two Way Contracts:

    G DJ Carton

    C Branden Carlson

    C Ulrich Chomche

    Exhibition 10 Contracts:

    F Quincy Guerrier

    F Jamison Battle

    G Tylor Perry

  14. Mogbo played 1.5 games. Shead looked good on D and PG take time as NBA levels. 2nd round players need to develop because if they were already serviceable they would be top 20.
Chomche he looked like he belonged and brought some D that is all you can expect. He has not played in NCAA or Euro team. JKW did decent but is young he will develop. Grade should be C+ or B- especially 3 in second round!

  15. It's summer league… would you say any of these player had a bad performance compare to some of the other overhyped players on other teams?

They are there to learn – Outside of Olynyk, Boucher, Temple, Brown and Poeltl, everyone's got something to learn to take their game to the next level in upcoming season.

  16. They missed every pick in this draft since 2019, but they made up for it we suck .next year coper flagg

  17. Drawing conclusions at this point is ridiculous. I think Walter could develop into a solid player. The biggest head scratcher for me is why the Raptors passed on Filipowski.

  18. Not impressed with any of these new projects. Carlson maybe. He charged the net on most shots. Going to be a long season I'm afraid. Should have picked Filipowski.

  19. I am not a fan of the TR draft picks. I do think Mogbo was a mistake. I agree that it's early rn and lets see how this plays out. I would love to be wrong on this and I hope I am. At this point it feels like if Toronto got the #1 pick for next year they'd pass on Cooper Flag and draft another shooting guard.

  20. Chomche was an absolute steal, youngest player in draft and summer league insane movement for a 7 footer. Also need to take into account that he hasn’t really played organized basketball and he only started playing 4 years ago. The kid has that dawg in him. If he went to the NCAA this year instead of NBA he’d be a lottery pick next year.

  21. Gotta remember, the league hates the Raptors. Masai cooked for the future this draft. No other team was able to do what we did. The media is biased, petty and jealous. Give these kids a year in the league with one of the best organizations in sports. Let's see at the end of the season.

  22. It's to early and no one cares about Summer league but no one looked very good on the Team. Even Grady shot poorly. Obaji looked dreadful

  23. This video kinda made zero sense cuz you admitted they didn’t play well then you disagree with the rating.. lol how does that make sense? What did you want them to rate us?

  24. Don’t know why writers are grading organizations based young players in summer league but would not take it seriously. I think this is more for rookies to have a bit of nba experience and for borderline nba young players to showcase themselves but not to grade organizations on how they drafted…very little percentage of these players will make true impact on the actual nba teams
