    N, only if Lonzo recovers from his surgery. AK had planned to keep Zach/Lonzo before the injuries/surgeries. It's going to be another guard log jam. Someone has to come off the bench. Giddey

    Giddey as the PG of the future; Idk tbh, we'll have to wait to see how he plays and if he receives an extension. Or; a trade target for the front office to receive 6 1st rnd picks, 12 2nd rnd picks and four players, oh wait still under valued, throw in the entire Charlotte Hornets organization too and then it's a trade.

    The bulls got some depth at the guard position now we just need to trade vucevic and get a rim protector, or start Jalen Smith and have vucevic come off the bench

    3 things can be equally true:

    A – Josh Giddy can be a really nice prospect/player who will have a long career, be entertaining and put up great numbers. (example: d'angelo russell)

    B – AK should have gotten more for Alex (1st round pick this year + Giddy) based on the fact that Giddy cant yet shoot or defend (2 most important aspects of modern basketball) and the fact that his contract is up.

    C – Josh Giddy may not be the type of player you win championships with.

    At first, i was hyped about A and was very very excited to get Giddy. Then, i was pissed that AK didnt get more so I took my frustrations out on Giddy. Then, i realized that we'll prob never win a championship with a player like giddy so i was "meh" about the move.

    Giddy, Ayo, White, Williams, Buzelis, Phillips & Smith are talented players who could win 40-50 games one day. The bulls really really need better bigs who can 3 & D and maybe more. but its a nice start to a rebuild. and i'll be happy to get league pass and watch the games again this year with this young group.

    I still dont believe in AK as he is horrible at making trades but hey, what can you do?

    I agree with everything except that giddy is a modern player.

    Modern players need to be long. Giddy has a negative wing span. They need to 3 & D. he is bad at both. but i guess he can improve at a few aspects.

    He isnt long for his height but is long for your average PG.
    He can get better at 3 & D as well.

    The modern NBA will not be about superstars. it will be about 3 & D. Drive and Kick. Playing 5 out. giddy is not optimal at doing that but he should get better.

    You have to take into account that Giddey only played 25 min a game last season compared to over 31 min a game the previous 2 years before that, that’s the reason his stats went down. OKC were also playing him in positions last year of ball that he’s never played before

    Remember when Dennis Schroder led Germany over the USA in the FIBA 2023 games? 30 points and 8 assist? 8-0 record? These teams play together forever and Dennis is a star on Germany like Giddey is on Australia.

    Giddey should be a PG/SF @ 6'8" that can play 3 positions – Coby or Ayo are the PGs along with Zo or Giddey.

    His size as a point guard makes it easier for him to attack the rim and help out with rebounding which leads to pace. Even 15 points, 8 to 10 assists and 6 to 8 rebounds a game shooting 45 – 35 – 85 would be such a great contribution for us
