The NBA Lied About The Josh Giddey Trade…
#NBA #JoshGiddey #ChicagoBulls
The Josh Giddey trade to the Chicago Bulls has been one of the most intriguing moves of the NBA offseason. The OKC Thunder trading the Australian guard to the Bulls in exchange for Alex Caruso has been seen as one the most lopsided trades this summer. Most NBA analysts called out the Bulls front office after not receiving a single draft pick from the Thunder. Oklahoma City has been seen as the big winners of this trade unless Josh Giddey becomes a star in Chicago. This Olympics, Giddey has been displaying his full skill set for the Australian Team. Everyone wants a shot at beating Team USA. Giddey has been showing his potential leading his squad which could translate in his game with the Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls already have a strong young core with Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Patrick Williams, and rookie Matas Buzelis. But the Bulls have yet to trade Zach Lavine after they set DeMar Derozan to the Kings and Alex Caruso to the Thunder. It seems like the Chicago Bulls are starting their own rebuild. But will Josh Giddey be a star for the Bulls? In Canada vs Australia, we have seen what Giddey can do as a primary facilitator with the ball in his hands, going toe to toe against his former Thunder teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Jayson Tatum have been the talk of the NBA fans when watching the Olympics. But Josh Giddey has been looking like a star as well. The question is, can Josh Giddey prove the doubters wrong who thought that the Chicago Bulls made a bad decision by trading for him? The OKC Thunder won by acquiring Alex Caruso to be a perfect complementary piece for their contending team. But let’s talk about why the Bulls can be winners of the NBA offseason and the Josh Giddey trade as well.

Same as the James Harden situation, Giddey is gonna be a star and OKC will regret giving up on him.. too bad
Will Josh Giddey actually be a Star in Chicago?
If he does make those three point shots in Chicago the way he been shooting in the Olympics, him and Coby White gonna be a problem
Giddeys looking good in the olympics. Solid defence and improved 3pt shot. As well as proving he has the ball handling skills on high pressure full court press for an entire game.
To be a stand out in the olympics is hard, but he's definately up there.
Spot on analysis… also giddey's lateral leg speed may currently impede his one-to-one defense but his hand speed with blocks and steals in underrated 🎯…
solid analysis especially with his defense… so excited for Giddey with the bulls
Caruso will win a ring in okc but Giddey will be a star
I like giddey for the bulls 3 guard lineups. White/Zach are scoring guards so giddey can feed them. At 6'8 so he can matchup 2-4 size wise since most 4's are his size. Pat Williams can defend the best swingman or big 4. Against big teams chi can play zone. They need to move Vuc for a rim runner defender and when/if Lavine gets moved he can play in the back court. If balls healthy he can defend 1-3 and slot in zach spot
The uniqueness about Josh and also Chet are their mental toughness and drive to be great. I always said about Chet as he progressed in putting on weight, his shot and his handle, is that he was right on schedule. Just look at his very recent run playing. Josh won’t be a Rajon Rondo as he will be driven to be great.
L….O….L. Giddey compared to Harden 😅😅😅😅😅😅.
another great analysis
I mean no one in okc ever disagreed josh has mad potential, he just didn’t fit with the team with all the other ball dominant guys we got
20,8,8 season incoming and the MIP award
What most Giddey stans fail to understand is the Thunder traded Josh to win now. The Thunder are not a vehicle for Giddey's development. He and Caruso are way different players and the Thunder lost nothing by trading Giddey and bringing in AC and iHart. That will be painfully obvious for Giddey stans next season. The Thunder are years away from Josh and the Bulls. Its not even close. I'm a Bulls fan as well as Okc. They'll be no regrets on either side. But the Bulls are rebuilding. The Thunder are built. And the OkCarushow merch is on the way.

Its a win/win trade. OKC got what they needed. Bulls got what they needed. Both will flourish with their new roles. Josh Giddey would have never reached his full potential with the thunder because he doesnt fit the system. Going to the bulls to share the rock with coby will do him wonders
Great analysis, those stats on defence really make me feel more at ease with him on the defensive end.
With his high IQ passing and Vuc's high IQ passing form the post we in for some more team basketball, more ball movement, which they lacked too.
What giddeys potential is with this Chicago team is much higher than if he stayed simple. Even trade. Nobody got
” fLEeCeD 🤕”
We love Josh he just wasn't a good fit for the team, but he's gonna be really really GOOD
OKC is playing 4D chess they’re set for the next 10 years in terms of draft picks and they have the best scouts in the NBA, as a thunder fan it brings me joy knowing that our great program is finally paying off with the restructuring.
OKC fan here, you got a good one! I have no doubt that he'll work out great.
its a good trade, but i think most critics were saying if the bulls had just committed to rebuilding earlier in the season and traded caruso a few months earlier they could have gotten 1st round pics
As a Chicago fan i think its a bit complicated but the gist of why its not a good feeling trade is because Caruso was legit the most watchable player in the Bulls, while giddey has his off the court issues so along with OKC having all the picks in the world i feel like getting like a single second round pick would have made the trade more palpable for the fans. Not to mention the Bulls arent really in a time crunch while OKC has like 3 years b4 all those meaty contracts push some players out so its OKC who is in a time frame. So its not about if its even but just it looks bad. Its like trading a freshly printed 100 dollar bill for 100 dollars worth of old quarters that need to be washed.
