Great takes tonight from all you guys I especially agreed with Gary about trading these guys sooner rather later on I don’t think we can get a young prospect back for DFS and CJ I do think we get maybe second rounders if we move them I think Keldon Johnson is a stretch tho, Also BK the reason it’s Harlem is because on the other streams he comments on the no more Harlem hashtag and he goes against it you’ll see it if you look at the past streams it’s definitely Harlem notice when dj called the guy out to pull up to the podcast he didn’t join 😂😂😂
With the additions of all these draft picks we have a real legit chance to get some talent in the next draft class it’s just about Sean marks capitalizing on these players regardless of who you like Cooper Flag, Ace Bailey, VJ, anyone of those players are a good fit
I think DJ made a good point just don’t get your hopes up to high because at the end of the day it’s Sean marks he is the type to trade those picks and go get a star or he’s the type to draft someone who isn’t a good fit and he’s the type to draft a player then trade him instead of keeping the player but both of you guys can be right
A lot of talent in this draft my personal preference would be VJ or Flag VJ is like another Edwards or Ja when they first was entering the league then cooper flag reminds of kinda like bird without the elite shooting part or he’s kinda like a taller Luka younger version of Luka tho possibly but with defense

Great show tonight 😁! Looking at potential lineups Brooklyn could try ti start some of the vets with Thomas and Claxton to build up their trade value and flip them at the trade deadline. However given that Johnson and Doe's values have gone down a bit you don't want to keep them longer than you should especially if they suffer an unfortunate injury and their values go down to where Brooklyn would have to accept low second round draft picks to get off of them 😮…
But for the most part Cam Doe Dennis and Bogdanovic are good vets that can help contending teams so if Brooklyn can flip them for some second round draft picks, a prospect or an expiring contract and a potential first round draft pick Brooklyn will be armed with a lot of draft picks to build this team up for multiple years 👍….
If and when the vets are dealt a young starting lineup of Cam Thomas Nic Claxton Noah Clowney Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford would be a good young lineup to get some run and build confidence as a group….
Most importantly next year's draft is looking very promising for Brooklyn and it's going to be exciting to see where the chips fall on that 😎…..

I know some show's have been somewhat chaotic and either entertaining or intense its good to strike a great balance like tonight's show because this is a basketball analysis stream and it was so great to cover a variety of different topics tonight especially with the draft and cover some draft players we haven't talked about yet 👍…. Look forward to bringing the good takes and energy to streams like this 😁…..
Enjoyed the episode tonight BK all great takes nothing was biased or fan boy takes was given tonight certainly we have to shift to getting those draft prospects for sure me personally I’m cool with anyone of those players I would like to have Harper or Ace if we can’t get Cooper
but the wizards, pistons, bulls, nets, will all be bottom tier teams they are in rebuild mode now pistons might be the odd team out because they are gonna look to contend sooner than the rest since they have more of chance to contend soon
A couple of wise proverbs I hope Joe Tsai and Sean Marks always keep in mind. The first is those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The second is insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Being the top decision makers of the Nets, they should've studied the Nets history with attention to what we've repeated that didn't work.There's a few things we should know that's not going to help us. The first is turning the roster and coaching staff over every year or two. The second is not committing to a direction.
An old but helpful thing for the Nets management to remember is some bridges have to be crossed when you get to them. We shouldn't just skip over the 2024-2025 season and focus on the 2025-2026 season. The biggest reason is because there are somethings that could happen next season that could effect the decisions we make for the following season. The panel are speculating on who's going to be the top draft pick, after next season, about kids that haven't even played college basketball yet. That's getting over your skis.
The salary total for the 2024-2025 season for Simmons, Schroder, Cam Johnson, Bogdanovic, and DFS come to $110,397,564. All of these guys are making 8 figure salaries. If they're on the roster when next season begin, then I'll go out on the limb and predict that most, if not all, of them will get the lion's share of the starter minutes and PT. Jordi will have more incentive to instill a winning philosophy and attitude in the team, from the jump, than strategizing on tanking the team for the sake of giving the Nets a chance of securing a top 5 or 10 first round draft pick after next season. His and the entire roster that begin the season have to live in the moment. I think and hope Jordi's strategy is going to be push winning as a top priority. He's on display as a 1st year head coach. He's competing for a long term contract. The players that are on expiring contracts are competing for future contracts. The young players, that are new, are competing to secure contracts. With all of these possibilities, it's conceivable that the Nets could exceed expectations next season. No Nets fan should be willing to close the door on that possibility. If we happen to miss out on securing a top 5 draft pick because we made the playoffs, there's a way to get one. Trade some of our many draft picks we have in the bank for one.
No superstar player is coming to play under Sean Marks.

After what Nets ownership did to Kyrie. I highly doubt any star player would want to come play for Brooklyn.
