I don’t blame players for taking advantage, there are millions on the line. This is a refereeing problem and it’s a systemic issue. I don’t think FIBA refs are somehow better than NBA refs, it’s the NBA that tells the refs how to call the game and they want offense to have an easier time of it.
Blame Adam Silver, the NBPA and the owners.

What’s really sad about Harden (which is not true for other foul baiters sometimes), is that part of his game were insanely fun to watch, his passing, his ability to get to a step back against any one, his underrated athleticism, unfortunately it’s hard to get over the fact that he’s been in the NBA since 2009, and still has made more free throws then shot and like yeah sorry free throws aren’t fun
