As a newer fan, the lack of representation that we have had at the Olympics is astounding. Even at the 2024 Paris Olympics, we're 1 of 4 teams with no players competing. It's a similar stat through major parts of our history.
I think the dearth of Knicks on the international stage should help us cherish the moments when Knicks' players were winning games for the US (or any other nation).
Just read this great article about the best knicks to play at the Olympics. Would you guys change the list?

Melo and Pat.
Melo was one of the best Team USA players of all time. The first four-time Olympian, three-time gold medal winner. When he retired he was the team’s all-time leader in games, points, and rebounds. USA Basketball put out an [article](https://www.usab.com/news/2023/05/celebrating-the-legacy-and-impact-of-carmelo-anthony) about his importance when he retired.
Melo is considered the greatest Team USA player of all time, and despite his lack of NBA championship pedigree this will be one of the principal reasons he will get in the HOF when his time comes.
I remain glad our players are resting and getting ready for the real season and not risking injury in this stupid spectacle. I hope Embiitch gets a career ending hangnail
