Since everyone’s ultimate goal is the NBA, seems to me that all other leagues should standardize on NBA rules and standards.

Believe SC job in this team is to take out his guard from the team defense. This opens up the other players to do more plays. The defending guards need to stay glued to him all the time.
You can see this on the PR game, once he has some space, the ball WILL go in.
