Not gonna lie, I still like ET and even tho this take does piss me off because he’s clearly bitter over PG, it is on the other hand kinda hilarious.
He also did mention that PG and Embiid will be clearly the most talented duo since Shaq and Kobe which was cool to hear but also wrong because T-Mac and Yao were unstoppable together when healthy.
Evan Turner wasnt a bust. He played for Doug Collins. The Doug Collins Larry Brown Doc Rivers Steve Kerr Babyboomer Coaching crew dont like young people. They ruin peoples careers and self image. Evan Turner was pretty good. He just got harrassed into being the perfect player when nobody is. Doug Collins was literally counting ever shot he took. Some players get labeled after they are drafted because their first coach was A.H. and they never recover.
Evan Turner probably know the Sixers should have drafted George over him and it bothers him. I"m not mad at that. People sometimes need time to recover from abuse. I disagree on turner being a scrub. But his career was extremely disappointing. I think his back injury played a part. He legit at times in a game would put sick moves on lebron, Wade and rose. I believe rose got hurt right after he was trying to get at turner. Turner was going at his neck. He had an awkward nasty crossover. PROBLEM was he rarely showcased this ability. Far from a scrub, just mentally didn’t try to score or attack enough. Was like a Ben Simmons. Extremely disappointing
