Forcing the ball to Embiid early actually paid off today and once he got going, the rest of the first unit followed and was able to stretch the lead out and never looked back.
Booker with the great performance today knocking down 5/7 from three and defending well, LeBron continuing to facilitate leading the way with 9 assists (despite leaving the game with his presumed innocuous injury) and the team shooting 47% from three although that revealed a surprising stat — Curry and Durant are the only two that failed to make a three of all players that attempted at least one.
And shout out to Kevin Durant becoming the all time leading scorer in US Olympic history surpassing Lisa Leslie.
