Honestly comes down to Kuminga being a 20ppg scorer, Steph’s health, and Draymond not acting like an A hole for a 3rd of the season. I can live with it even though I wanted a star to pair next to Steph. Lauri was like a 23&6 guy last season. Maybe Steph’s spacing would have got him an extra 3 and a back door lay but he wasn’t gonna turn into prime Lebron. Kuminga averaged 16&5 with Kerr’s bullshit last year so I can see him putting up Lauri numbers anyway.

He can be 20-21 PPG since he has the athleticism I have no doubt

For us to be better he needs to be better in positioning himself for rebounding and fighting through screens/team defense. If he can get to be average/neutral at those things then we’ll be in decent shape

Completely missed on a trio of lottery picks to preserve your future. Then moved all the blame to Klay and walked him out the door.

Even if Kuminga scores 20+ next year you’re a play in team.

Hella cringe and unrealistic to put that kind of expectation on him.

  5. Na, I’m looking at moody to take the leap. Jk can also improve but with the news on Markkanen out, Moody is the guy

We still got Wiggins. We are one lightening strike from being a contender. Assuming that lightening wakes him up or gets us out of that contract*

Points-wise, he is not there, yet. Defense is medium. Rebound is not there. He has the speed, but, handling is not that great. I don’t know what the hype is? I’m looking forward to see him excel this season. If not, he will not be a top player.

Imagine if it was august 2012 – and this was a post about steph curry.

  10. His handles give me anxiety but I’m looking forward to seeing a jump this year.

And if not maybe we can somehow get DBook

Putting the fate on him and not the guy the Front Office made untouchable in a trade is bias

While our team success hinges on his development to this standard, I don’t think this post is going to age well.

He devolved a lot from his rookie year to sophomore year and he is getting only better so watch out πŸ’―
