I expect big things from DD this season. I think he’ll average 12-15 per game and great defense.
Young, Daniels, Zacc, JJ, and Okungwu should be the starting 5.
Just because Daniels is in the starring line-up doesn't mean that Zacc can't do a lot of the shooting that Bogi would do for the Offense. Daniels is more than capable of giving you what Hunter gives you on offense scoring wise.
Also Bogi played starter mins in the 6th man role. So Daniels starting doesn't affect the impact Bogi has once he subs in and also allows the Hawks to keep a scoring punch in the second unit.
Hunter being in the second unit with Bogi allows you to have starter level defense and offense in the second unit and also allows you to keep the ware and tare on Bogi's and Hunter's knees.
So yea, I like a 2nd unit of Bufkin, Bogi/Matthews, Vet/Hunter, Gueye/Hunter, Nance, and whomever of the 5 C's they decide to keep.
But I think JJ and Sacc are going to have better offensive seasons than people think, and Daniels is the on Ball defender the Hawks have been waiting for.
I'm done with the Trae off ball stuff, we all know he'll just stand there with his hands on his hips. Super excited for Jaylen this year those two could be really dynamic together.

Bogi's probably the best starting SG for us, but hopefully Dyson can outplay him for that spot
He should start and Bogi off the bench
He should definitely start. The Hawks currently have Bogi starting and DD 2nd team. But that would be crazy. You need his D next to Trae and you need points off the bench with Bogi.
Zacc is a 3 not a 2
its positionless nowaday and gùys keep cryung about length well we got it now remeber trae is a system type player
Hate to be “that guy” but even Jose Alvarado is averaging better stats..Olympic games are way different than the NBA he’s not ready to start. I wouldn’t give your hopes up on him making as big of an impact as you think.
Key thing you said, if Trae tries on D. It should be okay.
It’s not the 2-5 that kills us, it’s the playoffs teams like Toronto & Miami who will just wait for a mismatch or scheme one.
I don’t worry about Hawks reg season. It’ll be around 500 for sure. But the way we stay above 500(like goes it’s was supposed to be DJ) is closing games out with D. Either taking Trae out or forcing him to play more defense. No switch or defensive scheme will stop coaches attacking us this way
I think Windler soils be the last two way. If Bogi & Matthew’s goes down. We need another knock down imo
