[Andrews] neither Curry nor Green want to be “final decision-makers” in regard to roster moves or transactions. But they do want to be consulted.

That’s all bullshit.
The Warriors are finished lol.
Being a final decision maker would be weird obviously, they’ve certainly always made their voices heard though. I recall reports of the two of them pushing the FO to keep Avery Bradley, for example, but they ended up waiving him despite their wishes (opted for GP2 which worked out)

You mean they want to make decisions but not have responsibility
Bro you are Stephen Fucking Curry, you built this dynasty. You are the one who should end it. Now, make a decision on what you want and lets rock with it for 2 more years and see where the ship lands.
But the caveat is, if you go all-in for now, GSW might become what Suns/Clippers has become.
Over/under steph leaves golden state at some point?
Him being a one team player would be really special but he might want to ring chase somewhere in 2 years
For what it’s worth, he actually did do just that with Klay when he went against Klay’s wishes to not get involved and went to Dunleavy and Lacob and said he wanted Klay back. They proceeded to ignore his request and not only not offer any kind of contract to Klay (meaning after Steph talked to them), but rejected the final (of 5) contract proposal Klay’s agent put forth, which was 2yr/$40 mil, and didn’t provide a counteroffer. That’s when Klay said aight I’m out.
If that’s what they’re going to do with a demand Steph makes about one of the two most important guys to him, why would anyone, including Steph, believe they’d do any different (ie actually treat Steph’s request in good faith, and work to meet it) for literally any other roster decision now or in the future?
pretty sure if draymond didn’t want someone on the team he would find a way to run them off
Dynasty has been over for a while now. Klank Thompson is gone. Their only hope is trading for Ben Simmons
They’re no LeGM
Mickey mouse franchise, glad c
Klay left, warriors finished if they still depending on mister triple single
Has no one here ever had a job?
It’s pretty common in any corporate setting for the team doing the work to be at least talked to by management before any major decisions are made.
Especially when you’re as important to the organization as he is, of course he’s gonna be consulted before any major roster moves are made. Doesn’t mean he’s gonna be LeGM 2.0 and start demanding trades.
Like my girlfriend, she doesn’t want to decide where to eat, or really even offer suggestions. She just wants to be consulted so when she demands a trade to the cheesecake factory she can tell me it was my fault for not suggesting it in the first place.
The photo is just fire! 💕🍓
Players should never be the final decision makers imo. How much they should be listened to varies, but should never be the final
